Does anyone know if a rev3 rear wheel will fit straight into an evo or does it need different spacers ??

It needs different spacers.

I tried this but the disc fouled on the caliper

The Rev 3 hub is set up for a different rear caliper arrangement and they changed also from 05 onwards on the Rev. Get an Evo wheel you will save yourself a headache spacing and re spoking to get the rim central.

I dont think the offset was different (although I didn't measure it), but I'm confident it will fit, it's just the discs were slightly different diameter and may need a spacer on each side as the EVO swingarm is slightly wider at the rear. BETA UK list a spacer kit for this but they've discontinued it
