February 10, 201610 yr Hello, Does anyone know if a Ohlins shock (as advertised on the tinterweb auction site) will fit a 2005 4rt ? (I think 2005 to 2008 had shorter shock length ? I have been informed that the Ohlins was built for 2014 bikes / shock lengths but does it matter?
February 10, 201610 yr post 2009 bikes steer better, not sure if this was due to longer shock but all suspension parts etc appear the same so would suggest would fit a 2005
February 10, 201610 yr It will fit had an ohlins on my 06 and have now put it on my 15,just a straight swap.
February 10, 201610 yr And the difference would be? Just brand satisfaction? Or will it make your muscles look bigger and your wallet thinner?
February 11, 201610 yr A shock service would suffice, Steve Plain serviced my Showa and it's better than ever.
