Is it that thingy in different color at which you are pointing with an Allan wrench? There should not be a grease nipple if this is one?

There should not be a grease nipple if this is one? It's probably the crankcase drain which goes to the carb, looks like an Aprilia motor.
August 3, 201610 yr Author Hi, it's not a grease nipple, sorry for the picture quality, it looks like a bleed nipple but I've never seen an SWM Rotax with one before so it could well be a motor from an Aprilia. I don't have the bike so I can't take any better pictures. If it is an Aprilia motor, there should be a tube leading to the carb/airbox should there not ? There isn't so theoretically, it should be blanked off should it not ?
August 3, 201610 yr That was only applied -as I know- to thw TXR model which at that extra plumbing to crankcase, carburator and air bos with an extra Little tank inbetween. But the clutch casing would ne different. Is there a screw in the power front of the engine case? If so than it might be a self made solution (I guess). I just has to use the drain screw once when I was first time in the Alpes coming from 50m above sea level and tried to start the bike in 1500m. My low level carb adjustment overflooded the crank really fast ...
August 4, 201610 yr I have this tube on the crank of my '88 TXR312 engine and it is connected to the carb with a canister in between. Under normal riding conditions both the tube and the other parts can be removed and the crank connection plugged.
August 29, 20169 yr SWM is the standard abbreviation for "single white male" in personals ads. Therefore, since the bike is a male, the nipple serves no purpose
