September 9, 20169 yr Hi everybody, been awhile since I last visited a trials forum back in the day when I used to ride biketrials myself. Years have passed and I know have a son whom we gave an OSET bike for his second birthday. We have been basically riding everyday for the whole summer and this is his progress. Any other proud parents who can give tips for riding excercises to further teach him balance and bike control?
September 10, 20169 yr Looks awesome. I cant even get my two year old son close to the balance bike I bought him let alone a motorbike. He just likes spinning the wheels instead. Maybe he'll be a mechanic !!! Edited September 10, 20169 yr by gazzaecowarrior

September 22, 20169 yr First, make sure he's enjoying himself, every time you're out playing and practicing. Second, don't force and don't let him force, his very young developing body. And third, lead by example. Don't just tell him what to do, get your own (trials bycicle, mountainbike or whatever) bike out of the shed and show him. This also reduces the stress of him always "performing" and you always observing and explaning. On the technical stuf, you being a (former?) bike trials rider, I think you already know a thing or two. Oh yeah, and change the location now and again. Make it an adventure. Get out! On the great yonder! Where the buffaloes used to roam! Edited September 22, 20169 yr by guys
