wynthorpe
Im looking for a cheap bike at the moment and this has caught my attention http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gas-Gas-trials-motorcycle-/371728690474?hash=item568cc1ad2a:g:mVsAAOSwubRXMIF0 Its had its engine replaced with the 125 unit, will this affect the bike at all? would i be able to put a 250 in it easy enough later on? Bike looks quite tidy for that price.
cleanorbust
Probably nothing against it being a 125, but the whole bike is subject to the usual bought-unseen risk of eBay purchases, ie it might be OK or have quite a lot of issues which need sorting at a cost as yet unknown. "Well maintained" could mean it's been cosseted with no expense spared, or been jet washed to death and shoved in the back of the garage until the next ride. wynthorpe
Sure I understand that, but it's an advert so will go view it first. Do it being a 125 isn't a problem? I could in theory go back to being a 250 no problem?
huski
If you want a 125 it's worth a look,if you're thinking a 250 would be better buy a 250.
glynn
Thats not a 2004, its an 02 from the looks of the clutch casing and radiator shields.

wynthorpe
2003 by the plastics on the radiator and the type of airbox on it ......I do not think that there is much to worry about if you look who is selling it; as he is an ace mechanic and would not sell rubbish. Its a good price. Im not aware who the guy is Oni nou? I take it he's well known?
