July 9, 20179 yr Put it back together and run it on 80:1 full synthetic good oil and rev it out on occasion to get some heat into it.
July 10, 20179 yr Author Is it likely to be damaging on a 250cc engine do you think? It doesn't appear to be an insert, more like the whole neck is narrow. Here's what the two exhausts look like side by side - my old 2.5 exhaust (left) and the narrow on the right:
