Vito Compact Dualiner

Featured Replies

Hi

Has anyone tried putting 2 trials bikes in the back of Vito compact dualiner? Can you get away with folding the seats forward and taking the single one out? Or do you need to remove all three seats or go for the long wheelbase?

Cheers Smudger

I’ve got a long and when carrying 2 bikes I just fold the seats. I know your on about the compact but there’s plenty of slack length wise and I think there’s only 9 inches of length between them

Cheers for the replies....

Did your compact have the folding seats?

Thanks

I've had 2 LWB Vito dualiners and needed seats
1 had the rolling/folding seats (perfect) current 1 has the seats that just hinge forward which IMO are nowhere near as good / useful.

I'd imagine if you had a compact with the rolling/folding seats you'd be fine with 2 bikes.

compact no seats works fine lwb you can sqeeze in 2 with seats.

How many seats do you need?

Ive made a custom bracket in my lwb so can fit just one seat which means we can get 3 in easily.

Pal of mine moved seats forward in his lwb that worked well, a fair bit of work as he took all the lining out too.
