Zundapp Trials.

Spotted this trials Zundapp for sale in northern France. €1500.

That is a MZ with a custom made cylinder, anyway looks good too.

There are some erm unusual mods like the snapped cylinder head fin and the crushed exhaust tailpipe end. The exhaust front pipe has a fairly torcherous bend/ weld at the exhaust port. However it does have character and plenty of ground clearance....I like it ??

yes, quite interesting, I like it too - I think the owner just took his file to the head, which originally is rather square, but he changed the entrance of the clutch cable into the primary case, the clutch sits on the crankshaft behind the round cover - front fork, front brake, rear brake is all MZ, I'm not so sure about the frame (and the tank badge is nicely misleading)

Probably not relevant i had  a Sprite wtth a Sach engine, but some were Zundapp, ,got pics somewhere!!

Strange bike, after my Gaunt Suzuki, which as a school boy i much preferred.

Zundapp trial with 125 cc engine and 5 speed gearbox ,year 1964.
