April 13, 20197 yr Hi all Looking to stiffen up my front forks on my 19 Factory, does anyone know of where I could get hold of a stiffer spring ? The aftermarket one is out of stock everywhere and apparently there isn’t anyone making them. Also would using thicker oil help if so what weight could I go up to ? Thanks in advance for your help ! April 13, 20197 yr You got to be pretty big to need stiffer front. So did you already get a heavier rear?

Possibly the world biggest trials rider 6 ft 8”, 17 stone. Already got a stiffer spring on the rear already but still find it too soft, just ordered an Ohlins set up for my size.

April 14, 20197 yr With all the Beta's in the UK you would think someone might have one. I tried a stiffer one and it was just too harsh.
April 16, 20197 yr If the UK importer can’t help you you might be stuck having a custom spring wound. There appear to be four different spring rates above stock available from Beta. Suspension spring chart-2016 EVO_0.pdf
April 19, 20197 yr I’ve just rebuilt my front forks with new fork seals , I’m now finding the forks very soft they don’t bottom out but they’re not far off ,I’ve used belray 7.5 and I followed the guide of 60 ml air gap in the damper side and 120 spring side , my question is can I just unscrew the top caps and add more oil to stiffen them up?
