Wycombe/Stokenchurch

Featured Replies

Morning People,

Can anyone tell me what the WycombeMcc Stokenchurch site? Hills, mud, beginner friendly?

TIA

Yes to all the above! It may well be a bit sticky

You'll be fine Hughie, ridden there many times, I'll be there Sunday. Like Petert says, bit of everything but nothing too big. Just ride whatever you feel like.

Excellent, I’m signed in and will be there….. hopefully I’ll have a bit more success than last week at Beckley!

Not as boggy as Beckley and the climbs are less steep. It’s a good ride round and (like Ixion) Wycombe lay on really well organised trials.

Thanks, looking forward to it. If the rain holds off between now and then it should be an enjoyable day. North Berks are putting on a practice day the following week which I reckon would be good for a beginner such as I so I think I’ll try and make that too. They’re a good bunch, did one of their trials at Standlake  👍
