December 2, 20214 yr Author Have done the clutch plate clean up and left out two springs as suggested and still experience clutch drag. Will try other oils. Maybe I should go with automatic gearbox oil. Thanks for your replies
December 2, 20214 yr Check the push rod clearance and bearing condition as well as clutch fluid condition and bleeding. If the release mechanism isn't in good condition you'll get drag regardless of the oil used. I'd also 2nd nano trans, 300v is also fine, ATF is good for avoiding drag but will make the clutch less progressive. Edited December 2, 20214 yr by totty79
December 2, 20214 yr Another vote for Putoline Nanotrans. About the only oil I didn't try when I had the Beta was ATF.
December 3, 20214 yr Author Thanks for your help. I will give Putolene Nanotrans a try as it seems the favourite oil of everyone who has been kind enough to help. Also I will check for air in the hydraulics. Thanks again.
