Michaelrn84 Posted November 14, 2023 Report Share Posted November 14, 2023 Hi all live got a 2003 gas gas 280 , I’ve had the clutch replaced when I had the crank case bearing done about two weeks ago at a trial at the weekend after about a hour the clutch was slipping in all gears , the oil has no contamination , I have noticed that the clutch piston has some Oil seeping out and the oil is turning a black colour could this leak be what the slipping is ie not enough pressure to release it’s a formula clutch and have been told these are not good and to get a ajp mineral one as this is what should have been on it regards Michael Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
lineaway Posted November 14, 2023 Report Share Posted November 14, 2023 I would of swore the 2002 -3 pros came with ajp's with dot 4 . Either way both the m/c and lower seals need to be compatible.
