Does anyone have any info on somewhere to say for the 4 Day trial, even the campsite by the lake?

Cant get the place we had last year and am struggling to find somewhere else.

I would prefer a gite/house as there could be 7 adults and 2 small children, or two houses. Failing that a caravan or a couple of tents on the campsite would do. i cant remember the name of the camp site to see if there is a web site or anthing.

they have a link in english for gites etc. if nothing takes your fancy you could drop them an e-mail.

failing this you could stay at the premierclasse or campanile motels in gueret

premierclasse is the least expensive.

Gueret is abit far imho, know a very good place for 3/4 adults nearby and they would let you put a tent in the garden. Try the organisers caramail or something on regs she speaks good english.

I camped in the garden at the place Nigel Dabster's talking about. VERY friendly couple who own the place, plenty of space to wash and prepare the bikes, and just a few minutes' ride to the start.

i got fixed up with a house but we have to leave on the Saturday morning. So am still looking to somewhere to stay on the Saturday night only.
