  1. Can anyone give me some directions to the West Leeds MC trial at Cawder Hill, Skipton. I know where Skipton is! Just local directions will do. Cheers
  2. Unfortunately I didnt take any photos. But as i understand it it has been photographed many times in Scotland by Eric Kitchen and YOU HAVE USED WORDS OR A PHRASE WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THIS WEBSITE. PLEASE DELETE YOUR POST/TOPIC. DO NOT TRY TO CIRCUMVENT THE FILTERS IN PLACE ON THIS WEBSITE so you will get to see it soon!
  3. The bike has been specially built for the SSDT. Although at first glance it looks like a 300, it isnt! it has hydraulic clutch and disc brakes front and rear, and an aircooled reed valve engine. Weight saved where possible makes this as light as a 4rt. Tubeless rear DID rim from a Montesa made to fit and front forks are different too. Finally all metalic parts have been powder coated to make this bike look better than new. I was lucky enough to see it before it left for Fort William and I can tell you many hours have gone into this bike! I really hope it finishes the week for both Bill and Davids sake!
  4. The results from this years Cleveland Trial are now on Middlesbrough Motor Clubs web site. Here is a link http://www.motorclub.uk.net. Take the Motor Sport option, then Trials 2009.
  5. I'd run it a few times before you actually eat any toast from it.
  6. Yes I rode the French 4 day trial with David Pye, both of us with flat tanks. We carried three 0.5L bottles between us in a rucksack but generally only used 1 each. As the course uses a figure of 8 for the first 3 days you get the opportunity to return to your vehicle to top up and top the bottles up aswel. I didnt run out and it was no problem carrying the fuel in a small rucksack which you need for drinks and tools anyway.
  7. Is anyone planning to ride the British Experts Trial on 26th July? I understand that the severity should cater for everyone. There is the hard route for the really top men, a middle route that will be easier than a Experts course at a Brtish Championship round and a clubman route which will be about the standard of the clubman course in a National. I would say that Graham Jarvis will put on an excellent trial at an excellent venue so get your entries in!!!
  8. bike looks good&jordi is still the daddy
  9. hi i had a 04 280 did the same thing but it was the first time i rode it,got to a section no problem walked the section then went to start it&nothing,it was the cdi box on mine also ducati ignition.hope this helps.
  10. Was there any announcement that yesterday was steve colley (1 of the greatest british trials riders ever) last british championship?I couldnt go due to riding myself but if it was his last round it was a sad day?
  11. Does any one know if today was dougies last ever wtc?
  12. 08 4rt comes with ship to shore radio as recently tested by Mr Fujigas. As i will be minding for cotakid next year i see this as a welcome edition.
  13. It could be the Sanz mapping. I heard they not good on the standard 250cc bike. I suggest trying the standard map again to see if this eliminates the problem.
  14. No I've not had a go on her bike!! Unfortunately!! There is a map going around which is supposedly the one Laia uses, it increases power over standard. But i understand it is not advisable to use on a standard 250cc bike. But on the 280cc it works very well and i have ridden a bike that is set up this way. Its not for me incidently, I am happy with the standard 250cc but it is for a friend who prefers the way the bike performs set up like this.
  15. Does anyone have the Laia Sanz ignition mapping that they could email to me. Its to go on a 280cc 4rt. Thanks.
