April 13, 200620 yr hi, is it true that you are allowed 2 practice at addingham moorside if you pay the farmer a small fee?
April 13, 200620 yr yep tis true. just go and practise and farmer will come round. only 2 quid all day! there is a chain round gate but not locked.
April 13, 200620 yr yes addingham moorsides a great practice venue, sometimes you even get all day for free if the farmer doesnt come!if not only
April 13, 200620 yr Just be aware that Yeadon-Guiseley and The local Bicycle Trials clubs also run trials at Addingham and practising isn't allowed when they are running. The MacKenzie National is in August and the Venue is closed the previous week and Just prior to that there may be a World Bicycle Trial round. It usually occurs in July.
April 14, 200620 yr At this time of year the bit of level ground inside the gate gets a bit muddy and slippy, so if you've not in something that can cope well with the mud, take a friend!!! Other than that, its a cracking place to practise. Provided you like rocks, rocks and more rocks!!! Plenty to keep you going for hours. Cheers Chris Mo.
