cello
My red MC cluch boot keeps popping out and I wonder if its meant to have a circlip or someting holding it in? Also it drips a little oil , clutch works fine atm , albeit it snatches a bit at the end of the lever travel which makes modulation on tight turns a tad more difficult so I guess its the clutch plates that must be at the end of the usable life. I tried to adjust the clutch free play today and noticed that it if i wind the piston winder in and disengage the clutch it makes a mecanical clatter! I did not ride it like that just wound it back out and got used to te on/off clutch. Any words of wisdom out there ?
arnoux
The seal would be compromised if it is leaking oil, and hence the dust boot swelling and popping out (they grow in size when exposed to the fluid leak). You'll need to get a M/C repair kit and replace the internals.
