February 17, 200422 yr I have just been informed that the Southern Centre has handed over 50k of its member’s money to the ACU. This has something to do with a claim against the Southern Centre and the ACU. What I find hard to come to terms with is the fact, that if the southern centre was not sitting on 80k in it’s accounts then what would the ACU have done.

February 18, 200422 yr More to the point what good is 8o k doing the members buy some land before its too late.
February 18, 200422 yr trouble with buying land is ,whos going to use it, there must be 20 clubs in the centre, so if you give them one week a year, everyone will soon get bored of riding the same venue for half the year. the land will get worn out. And if i'm correct the concil put a limit on the number of events you can run. also you have to consider motorcross , grasstrack, enduro, its their money to. As for paying
February 18, 200422 yr Our club the Bon Accord MCC in Aberdeen became a limited company two years ago to protect the membership from this sort of law suit. It's not as complex or costly as setting up a normal limited company a we are a none profit making organisation.
