Bloody well said Andy,

Why are sandifords so worried bout their name been mentioned, Hang on has anybody actually mentioned their name?

I've seen a link to someone using their name, nowt other than that.

But yeah i'd appreciate the fact that someone was pointing out that there was a dodgy deal.

Why couldn't Sandifords simply say 'We nothing of this please be aware of this seller'

Nowt like helping out the Trials community is there!

Am I missing something
Why are a few members of the 'TRIALS COMMUNITY' having a go at Sandifords?

Read some of the posts in the Monresa Forum and you will find Sandiford's do nothing BUT help the trials commumity!

My interpretation of Sandiford's post is to help the trials community/potential purchaser of the Montesa in the advert by removing the mention of Sandiford's alleged offer. The seller may have been offered £1250 from Sandiford's in 2005 the seller doesn't state when the alleged offer was made.

We are all experiencing dificult times, Sandiford's in particular, lets support ALL of the Trials Importers that support riders from all abilities, i have dealt with them all, and had fantastic service from them all. The importers/dealers support this site and keep it free for us to use lets stop biting the hand that's helping us

Hi Andy, I wasn't saying that the topic had been posted wrongly, just that we weren't involved. The seller is suggesting that we have offered him £1250.00 for the bike to
substantiate his claim that it is worth £1500.00 Neither Martin nor I have spoken to anyone about this bike. Nor have we offered £1250.00. The title was "Sandiford's Give Away"
which looked like we were linked to this sale. We aren't. Just wanted to make the supporters of this page aware of the same. If anyone is interested in the bike and can obtain a chassis number we
are more than happy to correctly identify the age of the bike prior to purchase. No problem at all.
Caroline.

Caroline,

I think your best bet would be to report the seller of this bike to Ebay, telling them that they have falsely claimed that Sandifords believe the bike is worth at least £1250 and have made an offer to buy at that value in an effort to achieve £1500 from a private buyer.

By reporting this seller to Ebay you would be doing everybody a favour if the auction is removed from Ebay as it should be, on the grounds of the false statement regarding Sandiford involvement.

There are too many Ar*eholes on Ebay making false claims about goods they are selling and Ebay should do more about it, but first you have to bring it to their attention.
