About Me
I ride a 2007 Scorpa SY250R and it's got PLENTY of power to push my 125 lbs around (even though everyone says they're a soft yam engine, for my weight it's plenty!!)...
I haven't competed yet (aside from as a kid, I think it was called the "rookie" class? It was for us kids, I was on a xr80! lol... I mainly followed my Dad and Uncles around as they competed in Novice/Intermediate lines.... those were probably the best years of my life!)
I really hope to get into trials competition just for fun and to meet new people
For those of you who are wondering about my old TY175 hand-me-down restoration, SADLY photobucket deleted my free-account/pictures due to inactivity... Sorry for all the broken links
Since my original rebuild (when I was 18 and not as educated), I ended up tiring out the motor and did a complete rebuild of it to the third oversize... new everything.... it runs stronger than it did new (or so I have been told)
We still have the TY bike though it's been "handed back" in good condition. I decided I wanted to ride a lighter more nimble modern bike and am happy with the decision to move on to a Scorpa SY250... I LOVE IT!!!!
