    Fantic

The guy with the Wetherby bib is Renato Chiaberto, Fantic works rider, UK world round at Bainbridge 1983. And that's definitely Jacko walking the section, behind Chris Sutton, he's a bit greyer now!
  2. I started this thread and I am pleased to report that I have managed to get one of the bikes (Rothmans 4rt) returned This is in no small part to everyone who helped publicise the theft; this site, all the bikes shops local to me, John Lampkin, all the secretaries of various motor-clubs (particularly East Yorks centre) and countless people posting on Facebook/Twitter While there are plenty of scumbags about, it is reaffirming to know there are significantly more decent folks, especially in the trials community A big thank you to all.
  3. FYI the bikes were secured to the floor and the garage was properly alarmed and sits inside a secure courtyard. The alarm was disabled, a small side window (hidden under bushes) was forced and the heavy duty chain was exposed and cut with professional tools, in the option of the CSI officer attending. The bikes were removed the same way. Neither any of our tools nor any of the garage doors were touched or damaged. I sincerely hope that the perpetrators are kin to the late uncle of Kim Jong Un
  4. Thanks for everyone's kind words and advice If a night out with me is putting anyone off helping with information, I am happy to pay a reward for their safe return Pls contact me or PC Lisa Jones, North Yorkshire Police (Stokesley) Paul McInnes 07768 025360

    Montesa 4Rt Ptb

Thanks, will try. As I am the unfortunate combination of both lazy and stupid, I was hoping a kind soul would gently take my hand and guide me through it....

    Montesa 4Rt Ptb

Please could someone point me in the correct direction to get hold of different program settings that can be downloaded. With thanks in advance :-)
  8. never dropped a mark between the van and the garage
  9. TrilabiteIt sounds fantastic in the yard but haven't found 5mins to throw it at anything yet. Should rectify that this weekend (bride and kids permitting!)
  10. You can make a 4rt much more competitive and interesting without breaking the bank. I had a '07 Repsol but I never rode it, I found it heavy against modern 2 strokes and could never make it grip. I was going to weigh it in but as I'd owned it from new and therefore knew it hadn't beed abused, I decided to give it a freshen so contacted Pidcocks. I have had a 300 barrel and and Termignoni exhaust fitted, along with HRC cam, clutch and 2012 map. Frame, rear wheel and gear lever have been notched out and various nice touches like flat tank & frame mounted kill switch fitted. Finally had a Rothmans decal set applied to sit along side an old RTL250S I have in the same. Pidcocks were excellent to deal with, informative and not as expensive as you might think for what is effectively a new bike. Still waiting on some carbon bits and a Ti swing arm axle but I'm thrilled with the results so far, will try and upload a couple of pictures
  11. I have a pair for trail riding. Taller than a trials boot so good protection, fairly comfy but relatively very stiff by comparison
  12. 6 guys riding the championship class today. Well done FIM and ACU, the future of trials is safe in your hands.......

    Building Ossa's

????? Too much Fosters? One would assume that the engineers at Ossa had a very good reason for introducing their new bike with USD after considerable research and then took the decision to go with a tradition set-up at the last minute, after all the PR/advertising was in place. As there is clear evidence that trials manufacturers follow each others lead, it would have impacted on all involved with riding bikes if they had gone ahead and returned to USD like MX I am interested to know why they took this u-turn and would bet that it wasn't that with 10 mins until launch one engineer turned to the other and said "I've just had this email from this really clever Aussie who said trials bikes go near rocks, doh" Feel free to reply with more anecdotes about scratching/rocks etc and don't forget to include a stupid "smiley" at the end

    Building Ossa's

Nonsense random comment, get back in your box Nothing to do with risking anything, in all the initial blurb on the website they make a big thing about the forks

When are they going to put up side down forks in?
