Here are some footpegs that i cobbled together. They are crude and heavy but allow me to try different peg placement, they are about 1/2 inch (12-13mm) forward and lowered the same amount. I also did away with the forward slant of the stock pegs. They are much more conducive to sitting on the seat and transitioning between sitting and standing, they affect ground clearance very little. They are a big improvement for me, I hope to have a nicer set made, I'm happy with the forward position but I'd like them another 5-8mm lower.

I've just bought a 24 Escape X, I plan to ride it a bit as delivered to get the feel of things before I try EM Connect, I'm very much an old dog that needs to learn some new tricks. I'm a bit intimidated by modern electronics, I mostly just use my phone as a phone. The manual seems to explain things pretty well but I'm skeptical that it will really be that simple. Can anyone give me any tips that will make my first experience with EM Connect easier? On another note, I plan to install a left hand lever for the rear brake and remove the foot brake due to my own disability. Research has led me towards using a 9mm Brembo clutch master cylinder for the rear brake althoug…

  4. Started by ChrisCH,

My missus is struggling to find an insurer that will cover her factor-e. The bike does not sem to appear on any of the main insurer's databases. I tried to add it to my (Aviva) multibike but they do not list it. We found a specialist trials company that offered theft but it was twice the price of my multibike (Suzuki GSX and Honda CRF) or the wife's Ducati Monster insurance. i just wondered if anyone has found a regular company that will cope with this model? The "specialist" for electric (motor) bikes I found cover the escape but not the factor-e so could not get a quote from them either. Only looking for theft cover.

Hi. I'm a user of Bertigo in South Korea. I'm asking you questions because I'm interested in the Electric Motion racing version. I wonder if there is a difference between the trial and the force of 300cc exhaust. There's no electric trials in South Korea. I have no choice but to access information on YouTube. I felt a little less powerful than the Slingshot engine 300cc. So I'm curious. Let me know.

  7. im looking for replacement headlight switch for 17 escape with full light kit, its got a lot of buttons - headlight regular and bright, turns signals, horn, ignition on/off, and 2 engine regeneration buttons. em parts catalog calls this part LEFT CERTIFIED COMMUTATOR part number TL01K-60407-00-00 made by leonelly. anybody has any ideas where to find that switch except EM dealer also since i don't need all the lights and i don't use them a lot anyway i can get rid of them but then i need "ignition on/off" switch and engine "regeneration button", may be i can figure out how to bypass ignition on/off switch and just use magnetic switch and nothing else…
