I see from today's results that the FIM have enforced the minimum weight limit rule. So, did they catch some big budget factory team gaining an unfair advantage over less well funded riders? No, they disqualified a female riding an importer supplied production bike. Well done FIM!

After disappointing results and disliking no stop Pol is calling it a day. He is looking to move towards extreme enduro and is talking to manufacturers. I think he has a great opportunity to do well here This was inevitable. There's no point flogging a dead horse and being pi**ed off at the end of each weekend. I am no expert at all , but I have my own opinion of what could have been done to improve and i fed this to them. It was to little to late and the rot had set in so to speak. Good luck Pol Pol's post from social network - Dear Friends: After much soul-searching I've taken the decision that my stage in the trial has come to an end. Hasn't been ea…

I'm sure the organisers would like feedback from spectators as well as riders so here goes. I'm local to this venue and ride here quite a bit. When it was first announced I thought great but where will they ride. I have to say that I thought the whole weekend was fantastic. The sections turned out to be very spectator friendly and you could comfortably see four or five sections a lap.So I would like to say thanks to the organisers for trying a new venue central to the UK and lets do it again sometime.Anyone got any real negatives from the weekend?

I can only assume that raga and co must be feeling pretty demoralised when you consider how amazingly good the top riders in the world are and mr bou completely smashes them into next week!! I wasn't there today but it's hard to believe someone can be that much better than raga and co. Full congratulations to dibs for a fantastic ride too. More of the same please!

From what I'm hearing Toni's injury after training is nasty. I'm hearing he's not riding the opening WC round in Spain and it won't mend on its own.Might be a surprise turn up , but I doubt it. It's clearly a pity for Toni and throws the opportunity of a rare win to someone else.

Don't have satellite since moving house so no idea what's available, but if you can pick up French Channel L'Equipe21, the the X-Trial des Nations is on tomorrow night and again lunchtime Sunday.

Read he had a training excident (to shoulder) and cannot ride (or skips) the X-trial des nations. But looks like he will be allright for the outdoor season. Interesting new rule ''interesting rule change this year in that one team member must be under twenty-five years of age.'' http://www.fim-live.com/en/article/new-format-could-bring-a-change-of-order/ So Adam will replace Bou (as they are both older riders) and will ride with busto.

As posted on TC: Trial des Nations Trial des Nations – Changes to team composition: Each Nation will be composed of 10 people with FIM Bibs: 3 Men Riders 3 Women Riders 2 Assistants for the entire team (Men and Women) ...1 Team Manager -1 Delegate Hmm and how many countries has 2-3 decent trials girls. how are they thinking! Btw does all 3 count. Will there be a A/B course for all? Will decimate the number of teams from 20-25 mens *4 + 8-12 ladies teams down to 8-12 teams... Why not run a mixed TDN 2+2 mens/ladies on Friday + Junior 125 teams (3 boys). The thought of a mixed event is good but keep the old mens/ladies event as well. Look at Biathloon where it has…

With that huge obstacles, seems like Raga, Bou e cia will be wearing some chest protection in 2017. Personally (after 40 years old, my ribs aren't so flex anymore), I like to use (Fox titan sport subframe) but at 35-40ºC it's not possible big part of the year. for sure, some fuss to come.

What would normally be on the telly... Updated: This currently appears to have been set "private" by the FIM. I'll leave this topic in case the setting is reversed, but right now the video can't be viewed. The private setting has nothing to do with TC. It's not our video.
