I just need to rant!!! I don't know who he is but he drives me to distraction to the point of not watching the show! He basically gives you the result during the trial mid show, not doing the normal thing of waiting to the end. So it's a bit like telling you the result of the Rugby at half time for the whole game because he's watched all ready Please get someone good like jack burnicle to do it!! he says it how it is, at the time it's happening with a little humour thrown in. Current guys voice just makes me want to rub a cheese grater against my face! DON'T TELL ME THE RESULT TIlL THE END!!!! F.I.M Motors T.v Rant over till I hear his loverly v…

Hi all! Couldn´t resist posting my own statistics. One way to rank the best rider is to count world titles and medals. #1. Bou, #2. Lampkin, #3Tarres and so on. We all now that these 3 are in a class of their own no question. Another way to rank riders is to look at their placings in the WCH (and ECH) throughout the years (giving them points for top 15 placings (20-17-15-...1) that favours a long succesful career. This is my list based on FIM results from website (although there might be minor errors in FIMs results).(Top 40 + some interesting names although the lower ranks have only been sorted on points). They use to have a list of most scored points but that one m…

Well so it's official. And congrats Eddie on the place (not confirmed as late as 3 weeks ago asking him at our season final (he won on a 348 Cota `78 with old tyres) (pics on http://motorfoto.nu/)).Sad though for Dibsta, Busto and Casales not to get the chance however Busto, Casales and Kadlec will prolly get their chance in the coming years and prolly some wild cards 2016. Smart way though to limit the Spanish dominance... outside top 5 must be new nationality... /TJ 2016 FIM X-Trial World Championship Selection criteria and fixed riders for the whole season 2015 FIM X-Trial World Champion: Toni BOU 2 nd 2015 FIM X-Trial World Championship: Adam RAGA 3 rd 2015 F…

Now that Fajardo is confirmed on Vertigo next year does this mean a strong 3 pronged WTC assault from Vertigo with - Fajardo, Dabill, Moret?? Or, now that Gas Gas been resurrected - I assume with no major WTC rider other than Michael Brown (if doing WTC) - is there a chance Dabill could lead the 'new' Gas Gas team in WTC??

Is Jeroni Fajardo staying with Beta for 2016? Just seen Loris Gubians announcement to do WTC / French champs for 2016 where he says 'I'll share my place under the structure with Jorge Casales' No mention of Fajardo. Is it like an A and a B team set up? Or is Fajardo potentially on the move?

So the start to 2015 and congratulations on Toni Bou on becoming the 2015 WTC again, Ok a tongue in cheek comment, but you wouldn't bet against him? So will there be a WTC in 2020 only 5 years away, but who would bet on that? Discussions have been on here for several years now and the sport of trials has changed so much, with the demise of riders, big factory trucks, demands of the media with IT infrastructure, etc. etc. and with so few riders in the top class is it viable anymore? You could argue that other motor sports have a selective entry in the top class with a support class making the event providing a stepping stone for the riders or drivers, but does this in r…

Questions with no answers? Will Gas Gas be resurrected by 2016? If there is will there be a budget for a team? Would it be best for Raga to change make of bike to regain enthusiasm and momentum? Reality is with the best will in the World barring a disaster Toni is going to win with half the season nearly done? The other reality is that only Raga can probably get close? If he is talking to other manufacturers with a view to riding for them then would it not be better to invest his money and ride as almost privateer in that team practicing on that bike in preparation for 2016? Of course my theory is flawed if he is talking to Jordi Tarres or of course Bou retires?

I was thinking the other day that I wonder what the top trials riders get as a salary? What do you think the likes of Bou, Raga, Fajardo etc would get paid?

Hi all. Going up alone for the day (on vacation in Spain); just checking if anybody wanted to join me around the course. Have rental car plan to check around the start if the Swedes doesn't start to early; maybe a single or a few of the opening sections in the town for b-group before heading for the main group (5-13) for all teams and over to last group (14-18) and then open schedule depending on traffic etc. Prolly a few sections on main and then final group on second lap. Will cheer on Swedish team (congrats Marcus Igelström to the spot in the team and good work in Portugal Eddie!) ; will be tight with Germany for the B-group with Chech (2-4th) and Aussie team (3-4…

Not a new situation I know, but looking at this years final championship positions Fuji is the first non Spaniard in 5th place. Looking to next year I think it'll only get worse. Casales returning from injury and you Busto improving fast there could be Spaniards in the top 7 positions. Good job they are only allowed one team at the TDN or they could have finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd!

According to the first pictures of the event on this website, the sections are all made on natural terrain, which is nice.
