I like the little Serow, but it is a bit nill for moving about at highway speed. I seem to want something I can really go somewhere on in reasonable comfort and a decent clip of 60 or better in cruise. Yet still give some flexability of getting off the beaten path to do some trails and such. Seems there are others such as the V-Strom and even the expensive KTM 990 or some new expensive Beemer. The Honda 450 is just not a road bike, so what does one doo? The more I look, the better I like the overall concept of this bike, although still big and heavy, which does have it's virtues on the road, there seems nothing like it out there for the money.

A quote from the Perth Club website :- "Trials: Meetings were originally held on part on, part off road and covered vast areas including Killin, Kenmore, Aberfeldy, Glen Lyon, Crieff, Methven, Bridge of Earn - in effect all of Perthshire, and a bit more." How about a twin shock 2-day based on the above. I would love such an event if it was at all possible ! Ross

Hi I was wondering if i could get some help from you guys At colledge our class is curently trying to beat the indoor land speed record on a CBR900R 1993. We have to do up the bike to go as fast as possible in 160ft inside a building, in this 160ft we will have to accelarete reach as high speed as possible and then come to a complete stop(hopefuly not making any holes through the brick work). The problems are that we do not have any money to spend on this unless we scrape a little bit together or borrow some parts, also that all modifications to the bike can be removed after and for the bike to be returned to its standard fourm. Does any body have any ideas what we co…

After years if dinking around with the old leftover trotline weights in the shed computers, I had two of the ole XP machines crash last week. I am yet to see if they are recoverable(backup) but it did really p*** me off, so I went off to see just what a budjet could buy. Answer, a nice compact thing about the size of a laptop, yet thicker, with an AMD dual core, Win 7 Home Prem 64 bit, 500 gig drive and 2 gig ram, a burner for $200(wwhich is what, bout 120 pounds?) ant thi thing is fast and works! Officially,it is an E-machines refurb, yet don't let that stop you(checked twice is nice) and from what I see on the market, they are all cheap crap so brand makes little diff…

After seeing so many people offended by traditional Bull fighting in Catalonia, it looks like this could be the end of an era. Myself, I think those long endured sports should be kept alive by those who wish to attend. If other animal activists are offended, they don't have to watch or take part. In the U.S., Bull fighting has never taken place, to my knowledge. Americans can travel to Mexico to view this sport, if they wish, as I did when I was a child. In America, we have our own breed of animal activists, PETA, (people eating tasty animals), and they cause enough trouble here, from, burning stores and establishments, to ruining the character of people who choose to wea…
