I recently picked up an 04 GasGas TxtPro Raga 300 and am interested in finding a bike for my wife as well. She is a competent singletrack/enduro rider, intermediate I'd say. Trouble is, she's petite - 5'-2" and 120lbs. Good shape but not the strongest. She can't even kick my 300 over. I'm interested in picking up a smaller displacement bike that might be easier for her to start. We live at 5,000ft elevation and could ride as high as 10,000ft. I prefer to go gas over electric, we do a lot of extended trips deep in the mountains or desert far away from a charging source. Would a 125 have too little power, especially considering our elevation? I'm leaning tow…

The last rear tire I bought for my 2015 Sherco was a Dunlop 803 GP rear and I still run the original Michelin front, it's time to refresh them. Here is a list of what's avalable in the area : Rear Dunlop K950, Geomax TL01 and D803GP - Michelin Comp - IRC TR-11. Front Michelin Light and Heidenau K67 ( never heard of that ). What is your experience

Hi all, has anybody removed the baffle from their modern 2 stroke trials expansion chamber? Seems a bit odd as it's the worst place for trapping unburned fuel/oil mix, and kinda negates the point of an expansion chamber in the first place?

I just wanted to give a shout-out for Custom Hoses (customhouses.co.uk). I ordered a special brake hose at lunchtime on Friday. It was made on Friday afternoon and delivered by Royal Mail on Saturday morning. No connection except as a very satisfied customer.

I bought a Datatag and an Oxford Beast ground anchor, lock and chain but my sheer stupidity didn’t realise it won’t fit through the frame unless I take the spark plug out .. I don’t really want to be doing that its been suggested to take the wheels off which seems a good idea but I can pick the bike up then Anyone recommended a good lock and chain etc or are their other trains of thought? tia

Hi all, I have recently acquired a 1984 ty 250 (Canadian model) I am wanting to restore the bike to original condition, ie - all original stickers included. The headstock has a sticker with the model information, but part of it is missing. I'm wondering if there is anyone here who can help with a pic of one. The one on my frame has the model numbers etc, but I need a pic of a complete one in order to have a new one made. Thanks in advance!

Seeking advice on the above subject. I need a new rear brake caliper for my Gas Gas TXT pro 2010. The caliper that I removed from the bike had an angled cut on the caliper hanger/carrier part of the caliper. I ordered a new one (part number 365019MO0), but when it came it didn't have the angled cut, even though on the website it was shown in the picture of the caliper. I've been in touch with the shop and they say that the part numbers match up with Gas Gas catalogue etc. Has anyone else had the same issue when trying to get a new rear caliper with the angled cut on the carrier/hanger part, and does anyone know if the caliper without the angled cut would fit the Gas Gas T…

So I’ve signed up for the Scott trial this year, and can’t decide whether to use my camelback rucksack or purchase a bum bag. All I plan on carrying is a drink, energy gels, tyre plugs & tool, few bolts, couple of Allen keys, phone. What are people’s thoughts on comfort/practicality between the 2? Edit - I’ve looked at fender bags, but they don’t offer a way of carrying a drink.

Hi All, thought I'd get a fun conversation going about which bikes we love and why. Here's my list: 1996 Beta Techno. Representing something quite different from it's competitors with suprisingly modern handling. 1997 through '99 Montesa Cota 315. The best bike of it's time in many ways 2000 Bultaco Sherco. These early bikes were a bold statement of intent from Sherco. They meant bussiness. 2005 Sherco 320 4T. An absolute weapon. 2005 Montesa Cota 4RT. A bike that has since become the most winning bike in the history of Trials. 2009 GasGas Raga Replica. Possibly the best colour scheme of any bike to this day. 2009 Beta Evo. A bea…
