Need advice. I was washing my bike on the lawn and the kickstand sunk in into the soil and tipped the bike over jamming the front brake caliper. The lever, afterwards, would not spring back. I took the caliper off and forced the pistons open but the lever still had not sprung back. I then took the master cylinder apart and freed the piston. I inspected all the parts and they had no damage whatsoever. Then I tried bleeding the brakes, both by reverse and from the reservoir, but I cannot get the system to take any fluid at all. The ports in the master cylinder are open and clean. The pistons in the caliper move freely. I’ve checked the cable and it is free of clogs also. I’…

Hello, I'll be in Spain, Lloret de Mar, in November/December like every year, and I'll be doing trial/enduro excursions there. Is anyone in the area who'd like to join me? I know the region well, as I've been riding there for many years. Depending on the situation, I'll be riding my Fantic 240 or my 4RT.

I just bought a 1986 yamaha ty250 and this is my first time riding a trial bike, in my experience with many 2-stroke bikes, I find them very strong at the initial throttle, easy to wheelie, but on the ty250 i just bought, in 1st 2nd 3rd gear it is not strong, it just keeps slow speed, can't even do a wheelie, is that normal or is there something wrong with my bike?

Hi guys, how do I remover the black plastic inlet fitting from a grimeca rear master cylinder? I'm rebuild it and I think there may be a leak from it. Thanks

Hi all, I’m asking for some advice please. I had a go at trials yesterday having been off bikes for nearly 20 years. I had a go on a 250 and did well on a yellow flag course. The guys said I would be good to have a go at a club trial. I enjoyed the 250 and found it very manageable. Looking for a bike now and can see a good deal on a 300. is there much difference between a 250 and 300? I worry if I buy a 250, I’ll want to upgrade to a 300 but at the same time, while I got on well, o don’t want to be cocky and buy a bike that might be too much for a beginner. any advice would be welcome. Thank you

Hi everyone. I'm totally new to trials and just bought an old 2007 rev 4T 250 4-stroke. I'm fixing a few things and have a carb question. What carb is in my bike? I want to order a kit as the bowl gasket it weeping. The carb is a mikuni. There is some writing on one side. Looks like 33 79 L691? I did ask chatgp and it reckons it's a mikuni BSR33? But just want to make sure. Thanks Noel

Hi, sorry more questions. I'm trying to figure out my fuel system on the 2007 rev 4T 250 4-stroke. Mostly out of curiosity so if anyone knows them and could fill me in I'd be very thankful. OK in the manual the fuel tap has a weird looking fuel tap? My doesn't have the same. I'll add some photos. Mine also has a fuel outlet at the back of the tank with a weird nob on it? The fuel outlet on the side of the tank doesn't seem to have an on/off? The fuel lines go into a little chrome cylinder which I'm guessing is a pump? It plugs into the wiring loom. The block connector the feeds it has 2 extra wires that have been cut? It also has a hot start cable that runs into the botto…

Hi everyone, I know this seems like a stupid question but I just bought a 2007 beta 250 4-stroke and I'm trying to find out what exact model it's is? VIN is ZD3T3020070000206 . From what i can find its a rev 4T, but then I'm seeing evo's and 4RT's and rev3 4T, etc etc it's a bit confusing 🤡🤯 thanks

Hi everyone. Totally new to trials and Totally new to beta. I just bought a cheap and cheerfull 2007 rev4t 250 4-stroke. The clutch is dragging and it seems to then when driving it has to be let out completely then it engages kinda sharply. Anyway I found a few hints where you file the glue off the friction plates and polish the little dogs on the plates so I'll try that. But the lever is a bit sloppy and the screw that pushes the piston in the master cylinder is pushing at an angle? There's a small leak there too. Having a little trouble finding a master cylinder rebuild kit for it, hard to identify my master cylinder? Any tips appreciated. I'll add photos of master and…

Hi all, for context/back story I have a 300 Sherco trials bike and 300 Sherco 4-stroke enduro bike- and struggle to find time to use either! My trials riding is Novice level and living on the London/Essex border, my 'enduro' riding is the odd enduro practice day or Hare & Hounds practice day. Generally tighter stuff, and again I'm Novice level. I can't justify having both bikes, so am considering a trials bike with long-ride kit. A Honda 4-Ride is the logical option but I'm a little wary, so that leaves TRS, Beta, or Sherco. My Sherco has a biiiiiiig jump between 3rd and 4th, which isn't ideal. How do the TRS and Beta compare?

Hi all, Just stripped my forks down on a Montesa 4rt and replaced lower and upper bushes along with new seals and oil. My question is to do with the right fork leg: Do I fit fork cap with fork compressed or extended? Im thinking compressed as that’s when you measure the oil height and it will work better with controlling the spring rebound. I can’t see this info in the manual. Pic of both legs ready to fit with difference in length.

I have been looking for a pair of upper fork legs for my 2014 Montesa 4rt repsol. Is there an alternative that will fit the 39mm Showa lower legs? Hard to find Montesa parts that don’t break the bank! Cheers

If so, could any kind soul send me or post a photos of the stickers (or stamps) so I can check with US customs if i can import or not. Thank you!

Hello guys... basically part 2 of my previous topic about the 125cc. I'm looking for another trial bike to explore hard trails... but no bike is "local" to me, at least 1.5 hours from here. I've found a Montesa 310 Evasion, a 315, a couple of older TXT280s, a few Beta Revs from the early 2000s. I'd prefer a road legal bike as I don't own a van to move it around and I'm at about 10km from the nearest woods. Found more than one Evasion 310, one is basically brand new with less than 1000km but it needs plate/paperwork, so I'll have to apply for one and cover the costs... basically it will cost 250/300 bucks more than the other that already have the plate and …

Hi. I'm new to trials and have got a gas gas txt racing 225. I'm finding that at low revs and in 1st gear the bike sometimes feels jerky, almost as if I was in too high a gear. Just wondering if anyone knows what could be causing this. I notice the chain could do with tensioning, could that cause it or is the gearing all wrong? It's got 9/48 sprockets. I've fitted a slow throttle too but find it very responsive despite the slow throttle. Any ideas/help appreciated. Cheers
