The replys about "which boot is the best" all have positive answeres, so I want to change the question to: What problems or dislikes have you had with your boots and what improvements would you like??? Things like not being comfortable when new or walking around, buckles breaking, adjusters not holding, soles wearing out quickly, not flexible enough............you get the idea. Thanks guys and gals Brewster

I ride road bikes with a buddy at work. His only dirt bike experience was with a YZ125...two weeks on crutches afterward, so I worked long and hard to get him out on a Trials bike. I showed him all the videos and stuff, and he thought they were neat, but they jast reaffirmed that there was no way he would ever try that stuff. He couldn't believe how stable the things were, and …

I have been trying to get some interest in Trials in the Beeb for a while. Its not that they are ignoring us, its that they don't understand the sport, and don't want to understand. They know who Neil Hodgson is, lets give them something to think about by voting on mass for Dougie ! He may not beat Jonny or Neil, but if we get together we might get him on the radar. Cast your vote Voting for the 2003 BBC Sports Personality of the Year has opened on: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/tv_and_rad...003/3222842.stm You can vote by phone, text message or online until 1800 GMT on Monday 8 December: Phone Ring 09011 110 830 with your nomination. My club's running a "conducted" trial for novices early next year - what's a conducted trial? Like a training day I'd guess...? Sorry for the daft question.

Just got done with knee surgery and am getting a set of asterisk knee braces for riding my woods bike. I was wondering if anyone has worn braces on their trials bike, and if they are too confining or bulky.

I know this topic has been beat to death.I just got a new pair of Novogars, comfortable from the first ride. The Alpinestars I just tossed were not comfy until they were worn out beyond repair. The straps on the novos are long enough to fit around my fat calfs unlike the alpines which needed longer straps.I am pleased so far with the Novogars.Any out there with long term thoughts on the Novos?
