Been trying to buy a Dave Cooper bike rack for past two days. The only contact numbers on their web site are a Tel/Fax number which is usually engaged, but otherwise goes straight to fax, and a mobile number which doesn't connect. I have text'd it but no reply yet. I'm stuck in the Isle of Man at the moment working (with no TMX to hand), does anybody know him, or have better contact numbers for him? Was looking to get hold of it for the weekend, but thats probably too late now. Not the end of the world, but would like to get it ordered as soon as I can. Cheers, Gaz

The Stratford Upon Avon Club will be holding a fun evening event this Wednesday. The event is at Swifts Farm, Halford, Near Shipston Upon Stour. Signposted from the Fosse Way. Riders can sign on anytime between 5.30 and 7.30. Sections close at 9pm. This will be a fun event, call it a chance to get in some preactice! Competitors may ride as many laps as they wish on a self observe basis. Infact; if any Experts wish to ride around in groups, they can ride their own harder versions of the sections. The emphasis of the event will be for everyone to have a good evening on their trials bikes.

Went out laning on my Trials bike the other day and had a great time... A few issues I came across: Ran out of fuel twice - carry more fuel. Wouldn’t have minded sitting down for a rest after 2 hours riding - but a long ride seat. Top end gearing was slow on the road sections - revert back to stock gearing. Other than that a cracking morning’s riding, and to be honest I enjoyed it more than previous enduro bikes I’ve owned (other than the above). Any other hints / tips for laning on a Trials bike? Might rejoin the TRF! Boner.

The calendar might have the latest bikes and riders, but especially our lady trials riders (tongue in cheek) looking rather fit possing on there bikes .....I'd settle for just the bikes and world round riders if anyone knows where i can buy a calendar i'm all eyes

Hi all, I now finally have a job and a wodge of cash that is burning a whole in my pocket so I am thinking of getting my wheels coloured. The rims coloured yellow with the side walls polished and the huds done in black and my spokes coloured alternately yellow and black! However please give me your opinion on this colour scheme! (My gasser is yellow by the way)! Also, what do you think the best coatings would be? Anodizing for the rims, powdercoat for the hubs and spokes? I would prefer them to be able to do the wheel building but dont mind seeking a wheel builder if I have to. I would just like some advice on where I might be able to get this done and what you thi…

Anyone got any tips on how to make long muddy climbs, these seem to let me down in trials. I see other people getting up them with no bother.

Hi all! After riding a Gas Gas for my last two bikes and an older model Sherco as my first, I'm considering a different rig for my next bike. Here's my opinion of current model bikes after taking short rides on each; I love the way the GG handles and turns. I never really had any mech. problems with mine. It doesn't seem as stable going over things as my Sherco did. My clutch adjustment was pretty finicky. The rear shocks seem to get sacked out feeling easily. The Montesas felt wide and the power delivery was a little more sudden and abrupt than I expected (not necessarily a bad thing). The price is really out my range though. Coming off of logs, etc. felt very much …

Hi all. Unfortunately, my left wrist is in plaster after breaking my scaphoid bone a few weeks ago. I am unable to ride until mid October at the earliest and I am wondering if anyone knows of a suitable wrist protector that will allow me some movement but will protect the wrist from sudden jolts. Something that is protective, but resonably unrestrictive. Any suggestions/recommendations?
