Hello I live in China and am just about to assemble my GasGas TXT Pro 300. I'm new to trials bikes and I've just bought the GasGas and shipped it out here from the UK. I don't have any air filter oil and I wondered what you would recommend. Would something like WD40 do the job? Clueless in Beijing

Hi all Just bought an 02 Gas Gas TXT280 Pro. Wondering what type of 2 stroke oil everyone is running in their bikes. The previous owner used Bel-Ray H1-R at 100:1. A lot of KTM guys I know are running Mobil MX2T because its readily available at Auto Zone and is also a good deal. Seems to work well also. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi, I am slowly, actually very very slowly making progress with my Tiger cub rebuild and wondered what is the best paint to use for the frame, hubs etc....? I have a spray gun but no fancy booth, just the garage. The other consideration is cost, so any suggestions where to buy at the best price would be helpfull. Steve

I used to wear fly racing MX pants for trials. but they where binned when i sold my last bike. What do you guys wear, other than trials pants (far too tight a look for me!!!) I am thinking of just getting another pair of mx pants, but there so expensive!!! ideas....?

Hi, I'm new here and just got my 2005 gas gas txt pro 280. I have been thinking that the rear spring is a bit soft as it sags when i stand onto he bike a fair bit. I'm around 16st if this helps. Thanks

after reading a recent topic, the one where the guy got his two bikes back, i just want to know what security everyone else uses to stop the scum of the earth from nicking your bike.

After washing your bike what do you spray it with to repel water and make it look gleaming. I used to always use WD40 but was told its bad for the bikes so use a silicone spray but the stuff we use is expensive . Any top tips ? .

My good lady partner is thinking of getting in to trials as well, however I have no idea what size of bike would suit her. She's 5'3" not that that's relevant but only 8 stone !! What would you recommend ? btw she's been riding motorcyles for 30 years so not a novice rider but novice at trials obviously.

Just how good are the participants of these Forums when it comes to actually riding in section not in practice? If you believe some of the posts about super dooper read valves, after market shocks or weight saving add ons that people swear by, i'd believe most of the readers here would tick boxes 2 to 6..... In west aus out of the 60 or so riders i'd say 90% would only tick the top box!!! so be honest what techniques do you use in a section????????????

When Bou started out with them he was a good rider along with Fajardo as I recall but below the top guys, THEN Things Change! Never heard of thie Busto kid until a year or so ago, and now he is on the second rung of the podium? Really? Wonder when they will pick up Sandra Gomez and give her the stuff to make the Baws Grow?

Just to ask your opinion, what do you think about marketing of trial motorcycle brands? Do you think it affects on you if companies are marketing their trial motorcycles in competitions and other events? Would you prefer to first try the bike, or could you buy it just because it is "the best" brand and you trust it? Or would you rather take someone's advice, your friend, family, etc.? Our school project is to start a trial motorcycle factory, and we should think how to get connected with you, experts in the field? I would really be happy to get any advices and opinions about how to build the BEST trial motorcycle, where we should sell them, what else we should conside…

Just gone from an 09 Gas Gas 250 to an 07 4RT, had a quick play on it today for the first time before I go to cowm on Sunday, just wanted to check there was nothing wrong. It felt a little heavy on my right wrist and right shoulder. Im no expert on working out what needs to be adjusted so thought i'd ask. The guy I got the bike off was not as tall as me he was maybe 5'9"-5'10" at a rough guess? certainly no bigger than that anyway. He's had the bike since new and has fitted a hope top yoke and Renthal Fat Bars. I believe the Fat bars come in different heights? Anyway Im between 6'2" and 6'3" and felt that I maybe needed the bars either further forward? away from me or pos…

I’m hoping to do my first trial this weekend, so some friendly advice would be appreciated I was planning on turning up 1 hour before the start, do I need to walk the sections before the start? I must admit, I quite nervous!

I have acquired 15 logs from 16" to 30" dia. and 12' to 30' in length.And 1 large 40"+ dia. 8' long. How should I arrange/build a good course ? any pics would be helpful. I have plenty of space to build on . Right now my practice area is a pond bank(about 45 deg.slope) with a couple logs 12"-16"halfway up , several 16"-24" ledges made with concrete slabs from old sidewalk ,small pile of logs about 30"in ht. , cast iron bathtub upside down , 4 tires 48"x30". laid flat filled with dirt. And something made with 3 pallets 2 sloping and 1 on top, about 4' ht. I have a small creek near, as well as, an old pit silo(basically just a ditch about 7' wide at bottom and 8' …

hy ive run out of tyre soap and need my new tyres on asap is there anything else i can use as tyre soap regards ste
