November 28, 200619 yr Hate cambers with roots ...no need for them, they're boring and slow but still make you loose marks. Ahhhh, that is exactly the need for them. They teach you the basics.
November 29, 200619 yr I voted rocks, but the last trial I rode had a 4th gear hill climb with a mud bog about 20ft from the top. It was a blast and the sound of my buddys 4 stroke Montesa blasting up that hill was cool, and the cheers if you made it.
November 29, 200619 yr It seems like big climbs are the only talent from enduro that has any value on a trials bike. So it may be the only thing I do poorly, the rest I do really poorly!
November 29, 200619 yr I HATE big, steep hillclimbs. No idea why, it's one of the (many) things that I've totally failed to get to grips with on a trials bike. I always find myself in the wrong gear and either running out of revs or looping it Maybe I should start a new topic in "riders helping riders"
