I'm not having any look here in the USA finding a set of Hutchin Trials Tires for my 8 yr old sons Gas Gas 50. It has a 2.50-16 front tire and a 3.00-14 rear tire. The Hutchin trials tires were really good, 2 ply and soft. MUCH better than these piece - o - crap 4 ply Cheg Shins on the bike now. We had a 1999 Beta Mini Trial, made by Trueba that had the Hutchin tires on it. We were really shocked when we bought this Gas Gas 50 and realized how bad these Cheg Shins are. Interestingly enough, I saw a new 2005 Gas Gas 50 at the Youth Nationals in Sequatchie, Tennessee, USA back in July, and it came with the Hutchin Trials tires. I've called Risin Sun, the Gas Gas parts im…

This might come in handy. Good to keep it bookmarked. Check the #'s on the left and scroll down to the 7000's if you're using BP5ES. Sparkplug cross reference

Hello lads, I am trying to find a 42th rear sprocket for my scorpa sy, and was wondering if anybody here could point me in the right direction. I was hoping for something with a cool design like a supersprox, and I dont want a standard sprock off a beta, gasser or sherco. Being in Australia renthal, talon and supersrox trials sprockets are not imported and was hoping someone could get me some contact details for a shop anywhere overseas that might have some. If someone has a part number for a talon or supersprox, that would be cool too. Cheers, ben r

Hello All, Last weekend I got a 1/4" pinch flat slit in my Michelin tire, right where the tread meets the sidewall between two knobs. It happened with 12 sections to go so I just rode it out, the bead never popped off and the rim was undamaged (but my score was abysmal!). Having never repaired a tubeless tire before, I just placed a patch on the inside of the tire per the instructions. Initially it held air, but within a couple of sections of practice it was leaking bad again. How can I permanently repair a slit like this? Can I pull off the old patch and put on a new one? Also, the sidewall feels flexier, did it break down while I was riding it flat? Thanks for the h…

Scorpa 2005 photos are out as well now so with Sherco and GG it really is a case of spot the difference in the 2 strokes, exclude the cosmetic colour changes and they are pretty much the same as 04. No mention of a Scorpa 4t so it looks like a Sherco mont race to get the 4 strokes out to the Public, who will be first???

heres a question i was asked by an mxer i work with that i couldnt answer. Why are trials bikes all conventional front forks these days whereas mx bikes are upside down. And as i thought up a creative answer, i realized that trials and mx have gone the opposite way. There used to be upside down forks on trials bikes (betas) and now there arent, whereas mx bikes have all gone the other way. Can anyone give me a good answer to give this guy on tuesday (Yes, long weekend here in Canada!! Too bad all the riding areas around here are shut down due to fire hazards!!) Thanks

Years ago, for the young ones out there, Castrol used to have a great library of movies (16mm) of events including the Scottish, Scott, TT and all the other great events. All you had to to do was walk into a Castrol distributorship, show that you belonged to a valid club and you could borrow it. What happened to it?
