Good to see from last weeks results that Shaun Morris is back in competitive action after his freak accident last year. Hope his recovery continues.

Have had a sabbatical of some 8 years and decided to get a bike. Managed to get an nearly new evo and have had to get a whole load of new gear. So look a bit “all the gear and no idea”. Looking forward to getting back out having joined at the Earl Shilton club!

i have split my back mudgaurd the stickers are holding it together is there any way i could glue or plastic weld (i heard)? any suggetions would be appriciated thanks scott

Wondering if anyone has managed to sneak a peak at any of the pros back protectors at events, etc. You can sometimes get a look at Bincaz's, because it pops out the bottom of his untucked shirt. It looks to me like he's wearing a road race type hard shell articulated protector. As for the rest of them, I haven't seen any specifics. I ask largely because, without naming names, I've been 100% disappointed in the trials manufactured back protectors that I've tried. I'm thinking about going to something I'm familiar with from the road race world, but I wouldn't mind knowing what some of the pros have landed on now that they're being mandated.

In recent years I've only been riding occasionally and only using my TLR. I'm going to get a modern bike again, mainly because some venues are a bit much (for me) for the tlr. I'd like to keep it for the suitable ones. Previously had Beta 4t and loved it, I get on well with 4 strokes, like the low end torque etc.. But i fancy trying 2 stroke again mainly for the weight and a change as the big 60 approaches! Had beta 250 and TRS before, almost certainly going to stick with beta, got 2 v nice to choose from, 250 factory and 300 ss standard both 2017. My question is can any one give their opinion on 250 beta v 300ss I know all uk spec 300s are now the ss and i dont nee…

The other morning my wife said to me "I was thinking of a "ROCK GARDEN" in the corner of the property. My ears perked up! and my eyes got really big! and I yelled OK!!!! My wife's head dropped into her hands as she realized what she had just done. So guess who has not been able to sleep the past two nights! While I was reading through my old books on trials, I came across the name of "Jacky Ickx" as one of the top world class trials riders in 1964 and 1965 (8th and 4th respectively in the 1964 and 1965 Henri Goutars Challenge). So I've got an odd clutch problem. The bite point basically moves around, typically in, up to a point. After the clutch is let back out, the engagement point will gradually migrate its way back to where it was originally, as evidenced by the free play in the lever. Another way of saying this: set free play to ~2mm, pull the clutch in a bit, let it out, free play is now 6mm. Leave it alone for ~10 seconds and the free play is now back where it was originally set. I've had to think very carefully about this post, but I think it's a valid topic. I've had/am having a bad experience with a very well know dealer of trials bikes, basically I bought a twinshock bike off him and unfortunately it turned out to be nothing like as described, I gave said dealer the benefit of the doubt and he promised to put things right, great I thought. It's now 8 months later and despite many promises (which I have in emails I've kept) I've still received nothing. Seems the season has been riddled with bad luck, a point here, a clean there! Just watched the section 15 vid from Hawkstone, a five for WHAT? Even he had to go back and ck ! Was'nt there so cannot comment. Just bad luck! Separating him from the top in the series. Fuji has done amazingly this year! Hats off to him! GO for the 100 Doug!

Hi all, has anybody removed the baffle from their modern 2 stroke trials expansion chamber? Seems a bit odd as it's the worst place for trapping unburned fuel/oil mix, and kinda negates the point of an expansion chamber in the first place?

I wasn't really sure where to post this, sorry if it doesn't belong here as there is no bike involved!. Balance is vital in Trials so what do you guys do to improve your balance? Messing about at work the other day we found a roller, added a shrot board on top and tried to balance on it. I videoed our early attempts have a look here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_1UGXUFAO0 After a few minutes practice each day we are now considerably better than on the video. I have found you can actually buy proper boards called 'indo boards' I think surfers use them a lot for balance training.

Just viewed ,and Raga puts on a display at what looked like the Gas Gas Chrissy party. Does a demo hopping from rock to rock without letting front wheel come down, impressive !!!! Then does exactly the same with front end of bike removed. Worth getting ,just for this display. Beyond belief.

As I get older I think I worry more..I've had a few silly, little get-offs recently. I think kharma may have something in store for me in the near future. I'm not saying that a bar plug on this guy's *R2w Find * throttle could have helped..but...what do you think about the subject..any experiences?
