Split this off from the main US GP topic as it's not really on-topic. One thing I will say about you guys is I've never seen a more enthusiastic crowd. The cheering ALL riders, regardless of nationality really helps create a great atmosphere. It was the same in 2006 and in Duluth in 2005. It's not like that anywhere else - and boy, do you lot love Fujigas! BTW, anybody here get one of his gloves?

How long will we be able to ride our two cycle bikes in California? I am thinking about a new bike and wonder if I should consider A four cycle due to whats happining with watercraft and other laws. It really doesn't make sense to me because even the new 4rts are getting red stickers here. I guess it is like everything else enjoy it will you can. If anyone thinks they know something about new laws on this matter please let us know.

Where is the best place to stay for the world round? It looks like things close to the TTC are full. Where in Chattanooga is a good place to stay? Or is there someplace else close that would have decent rooms. Thanks for the help

The event began just a short time ago. Here's section 1. Pat took a clean, as did most riders. A shuttle is needed to get out by the sea-side sections. That doesn't leave until 11 AM. It's cold and very windy today.

What a treat. This morning it was a pleasure to meet the Mayor of North Down Borough, Counciller Dr. Stephen Farry. He and his posse stopped in the media room to check out the press operation - and to mingle a bit. Right away I knew this man was someone of importance. Check out his bling.

Help! We need a language translator for the upcoming World Round in TN on April 26/27! Our FIM rep is from Italy but is said to speak French quite well. Officially, we are obliged to provide French and English translation, but our French-speaker in the STRA that helped before is unavailable so we need some help. Maybe some French Canadians could help out here. Italian speaker would be ideal, since our guy is Italian. Section inspection is on Thursday, April 24, so we need somebody who can be in TN on Thursday through Sunday for the section walk-thru and for Jury meetings & official stuff. thanks, dan p.s., we got a lot of photos and also a video preview of so…

Couple of big events coming up in the US, end of this month is the world round in Tennessee, rare chance to see the US riders on home ground against the European riders. I whish I could go cheer them on, but the old dear will only let me off the leash a few times a year. Closing date for the first rounds of the National championship fast approaching, that I did get the nod on, so got my entry sent in before lass changes her mind. The first events at local and state level this year have been very well attended, we might just see a big turnout for Colorado, I'm looking forward to it and hope to see some of you there, always cool to see old faces and new bikes at the first…

With the possibility that you guys will get your next trials world champion this year(albeit at Youth Level), I was wondering what effect Bernie Schreiber had on the US trials scene when he won in '79? I ask simply because I know that you guys get behind a sport that you do well at on the world stage, so therefore I wondered if there is anything you can remember from the time, as to what happened in the months/years after the win that you would kindly share?
