How much does a new piston cost in the states?

  2. Started by toofasttim,

Just to let you know That Dan Brown of TTC has stepped forward and will be supporting Bruce and Brent LeRiche next year during their attempt at the US championships. Thanks very much Dan and I'm sure Brent, Bruce and John (dad) will enjoy Southern hospitality. Also Thanks very much too M.Lawson for his offer in Puget Sound and all others who came forward with offers. Might we mentioning the name LeRiche in the same the same hushed tones as Albertyn and Langston ?

I like to have a look round other peoples homepages from time to time. I was looking through your results and I noticed that your scoring seems to be in the format 5/0 for each lap. How does this work? Presumably the first mark is actual marks lost, but I couldn't work out the second digit. The results I am talking about are at: http://www.observedtrials.com/Cota%20Resul...2003-tussel.htm Just wondering. Cheers, Bikespace P.S. How have you got the results out for November 2004 already. Is it rigged?

I was rummagin around the other day looking for some old Fantic memorabilia to go with my 240 twinshock that I'm working on, and I found a ton of old Trials Competition papers with write-ups on Nationals from the late 80's, and results sheets. I was still riding Champ class back then and, I was quite interested to see the not only the number of riders entered, but the actual points spread between 1st and 10th. First off, every event I looked at there were at least 20 rider's in the champ class. Other than the top 2 ( Scott Head and Ryan Young) the rest of the guys in the top 10 could almost be interchanged from event to event! These were all impressive rider's too! Mcnea…

  8. Started by alan bechard,

I will be putting on a large (our standards) regional event next year, I would like to include as many components of a "professional" event as I can. By professional, I mean, large, well run, established, impressive. It is just the best word I could think of. In your opinion, what gives an event that "look" or maybe "feel" I am thinking the large fireworks tent, banners of bike manufacturers and vendors, flagging and marking?????? Thoughts, comments or ideas?

As we prepare for the upcoming USA Indoor in Ontario, how about some suggestions, based on what you know about Team Full Monty , on what you'd like to see.

This story was recieved from Don Hubbard. Thought it was good! Les The US Indoor in San Francisco was very good. Ted Gansberger and the PITS organization put on a very good event. Attendance was moderate - I'd guess that 3,000 may have been in attendance. I am constantly amazed at the obstacles that these top riders can ride; these sections were very difficult. The Indoor format is quite different from a regualr National event. The event starts with 7 riders. All riders rode the 7 section loop once. Each rider rode the first three with a 6 minute time limit; the riders gather penalty points if they run over past the limit. Then they each rode the last 4 sections with …

Just a reminder that the show "Guts & Bolts" will have a trials feature tonight at 8:30PM EST (7:30 CST). This show was filmed around 1st of Sept. at the Trials Training Center in TN, with Ray Peters of TTC teaching trials riding techniques to the show's host. They are also reportedly including some bits about the history of trials riding, at least in the U.S. I will be as interested as anyone to see how it comes out; we just tried to be helpful but they do what they want! Looking for what folks have done, or seen done, or thought about doing to improve the Youth Trials movement. Here are some random and jumbled thoughts that I have had. Youth Event Thoughts Just wanted to take a moment and write down some of my thoughts and observations about Youth Trials events. Consistency is the biggest thing I can suggest. If people automatically know that there will be a Youth Event at every trials, your

Just curious here. I probably don't know the history as to the creation of Trials Central, but was wondering why? Did I miss something? Am I undertanding that TC is run by Andy too? Has TA got problems, or did Andy just want to get out from under someones thumb? Why two similar internet magazines that seem to be competing against each other?
