Hi, I am on my second Cota 349 build (for my sins) and this one has really gave me a head spin. The engine has just been rebuilt and all I needed to do was connect the electrics and that was it, job done... Er no chance! Brand new points, condenser, stator check(good), new coil, new plug cap and new plug, but no spark. Coil on frame had a very good earth with no paint in between, all engine mounts have good earth as well. Can anyone on here throw me a bone to what I might have to do to get a spark please?

Hi, I just joined up. I have restored two Suzuki TC120'S. A 69 one and a 71 one. I was quite fasinated to read the information about the Peter Gaunt ones and others. Having played about in the rough and in woods on the normal TC I was well impressed, I would love to play about on a trials version. Even sat down on the little TC it pulls well in low ratio and climbs well. I would like to build one and have a chat and pick the brains of someone who has one or knows about them. I have kind of read all I can find on the net. Specifically, do you need the T200 triple tree as well as the forks?, or is it the b120 tree. Also I believe there are alternatives. I tried…

Hello All... I have recently acquired a 1985 CanAm badged Armstrong 350 Trial here in Canada. I did find the Armstrong Trials website for replacement plastics etc. I have email the address at the bottom of the website, I have used the email page on the website... and have not got any reply in a month or so. Does anyone know if this company is in business any longer ?.... I would dearly like to order one of everything on the site, but I can’t get an answer. Maybe it’s that they do not want to deal with overseas, I do not know. Being in Canada, it’s not easy to just pick up the phone and call them. Does anyone know if they are still in business ? …

Hi all. I'm currently rebuilding a 1955 DOT TDH I'm hoping to use for some pre 65 trials. It has the Earls type front forks. Not sure what to go with for shock absorbers. I got hold of some TLR 200 rears, and they are about the right length at 390mm, but one of them is dead, so they are not much use other than for keeping the front end together. Anyone got something laying around that might fit, or any suggestions? I don't want to spend too much on shocks initially, as it may take some experimenting to see exactly what is right for the bike.

Hi all, new to the forum and have my first query, hope somebody can help. Is it possible to fit TY250 yokes in a bantam frame and, how is it done ? I have been looking for forks for my trials bantam for some time now, without much luck, and will not go to the expense of REH although they do look very well engineered. Anyway i have acquired some TY yokes and hope to start from there, any thoughts ?

Can anyone help with advice. I have a Majesty 320 which I have had from new but not ridden since 1988. I am in the process of stripping it down for painting, new bearings etc. The forks have a large hex top cap in them which seems very stiff. I'm not sure how to dissemble them either. I will need to strip them down to refill and maybe fit new seals, and also the top of them is slightly pitted and could do with re-chroming. I think the bike, built by John Shirt, was a TY250, bored out with a bigger flywheel so the forks will be TY250 1978-ish. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi fellow Fantic fans. I have a Fantic 200 (fm350) and wanted to know how to set the Delourto phb25 carb up right. When people talk about the idle screw being turned out 2 3/4 times are they reffering to the big Idle screw, or the fuel screw next to it. If so what is the best setting for the fuel screw. Also the needle being on the 3rd notch, is that the 3rd notch from the top or the bottom of the needle.

My TK carb is just worn out on my Yamaha mono TY. I'm looking into replacing it with the old stand bye, the Mikuni VM26. I had read that Jon S. had success with these. Does anyone know the jetting specs for a Mikuni VM26? Thank you for your help.

I thought people might get a kick out of this US based catalog from 1977. Prices (USD) appear to have gone up a bit since then. https://newenglandtrials.com/thetryalsshope/
