Hi All well i noticed the clutch operating arm of my tiger cub was broken on the end where the cable connects to the arm and have found a stainless arm replacement online however as the pin that holds the arm on the threaded part is compressed on it will not come off. i cannot source the pin. is there a supplier that may make these? or is it a case of purchasing the complete assembly second hand or maybe having to get one machined. any have one for sale maybe? kind regards Neil

Hi, T20 1963 new to me, removed outer engine casing on both sides but two bolts won’t refit on the right hand cover side. Would like to keep with the original bolts, I would be very grateful if anyone can recommend the correct helicoils I should be using?

  4. I am looking for advise on the best way to go about fitting tubeless rims to a Ossa 250 Mar and a TR-80 Gripper. Anyone out there that has done this, which rim did you use? The Mar has parallel hub and the Gripper doesn't, both 36 spoke. I read a post were the poster had trouble fitting a new MORAD and had to fit a used one. Any help appreciated. Alistair

  5. My father, Tom Ollerton, who was a very keen rider in the 1950s and 60s has passed away at the age of 91. Dad was a very active member of Darwen Motorcycle Club in Lancashire, and competed in the Scottish Six Days Trial many times. He worked for many years at Anelays Motorcycles in Blackburn, who were the original concessionaires for Bultaco in the UK. In 1962 Dad became the first man to ride a Bultaco in the Scottish (his was the only Bultaco entered that year). He rode it again in 1963 where, once again it was the only Bultaco entered. In 1964 he was joined by Oriol Bulto, who was most impressed by the modifications that Dad had done to his machine to convert it to a t…

Hello all, I have a swinging arm 7 inches wide at the wheel spindle plates. I’m wondering what you Pre65 guys use for a rear wheel hub? Something other than a cub and preferably aluminium. Cheers

I have an 8E Villiers engine I’m looking to use and wondered if anyone could give me some advice on primary gearing. I notice that Villiers Services do 15/16/17/18 primary sprockets. Any views on what would be best? I have the 4 speed box and again wondered is there is much value in extra low 2nd and 3rd gears? any advice appreciated

I wonder if anyone has ever fitted a Mikuni VM22 to a Villiers 7E spec motor. I was prompted when my 3rd and last Villiers S24 Concentric showed hairline cracks. I had a VM22 handy and a hose to couple it up. I've long held that the 24mm size was fit for road work, but maybe overchoked for a trialer. The carb came from a GP100 so I'm awaiting suitable jets and filter. Anyway I'd like to hear any experienced views, thanks.

Hello! We have recently had a family member pass away, who had an old BSA in the corner of the garage. I'm trying to find more information about it as I don't really know a great deal about BSA and whether to restore it. I'll attach photos. I can't seem to see much info about the engine either to figure out what year it is. The number on the engine itself is C15T 179? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I just bought a trial bike a Bultaco Sherpa 350 but I don't know what type of Bultaco it is? The tank is strange and if I compare with other tank from the opening is not in the center of the tank. I have the paper and the bike build is 1975. ON the last picture (yellow), what is this part? Thank you

British bikes. What counts as being a Classic British trials bike? I regularly speak to people who ride Bantams fitted with Yamaha? pistons. Clutches that belong in Yamahas. Shocks and levers etc from China. Greeves bikes that were completely manufactured in the 21st century! How about a C15 with a Honda motor fitted? Or, an old C15 or Cub engine fitted into one of those brand new, light weight vintage style frames? Where do clubs draw the line for entries into Classic and/or "British" trials bikes classes? Any thoughts?
