What an Awesome day!!! 9 sections 4 laps new record number of sections for us . 11 riders out today we seem to grow by a couple of riders each event... it may not seem like a lot but it was only a few years ago we only had 4 or 5 riders locally now we are over 25 (even if they don't all make it to events) it is great to see the numbers growing. Looking to have 4 events next year + training session and a 3 day indoor demo at the outdoor show.

We'd like to welcome everyone to the PNTA coming up in Victoria on June 28th/29th. A lot of work is being done to make sure this is an interesting and fun event. Also, many of the sections are near the parking area, making it an ideal event for spectators. Please follow the link here to view the poster.

Rounds three and four of the WEC Canadian National Series go this weekend in Quebec. Wilson Craig from Vancouver won the first two events, but the battle in other classes is pretty tight - it really remains to be seen who makes the cross Canada trip to compete, Will Duggan and Devon Dargis from Vancouver Island are both up for the titles in the Champ and Expert classes, and will be in Quebec to battle it out with the Eastern riders.

The Trial to remember our old buddy Adrian who died in London England last January, will go this Saturday at Vernon BC - We expect many of Ady's friends to be riding from both Vancouver, Kelowna, Vernon and Alberta. We will post pics (if possible as I'm a bit of an old fart at the computer stuff) One of the more spectacular sections, we have named "Adrian's Wall"

The annual Adrian Brown memorial Trial, was held in OK Falls BC on October 18th - Adrian was a popular member of the Trials group in the Okanagan Valley, and had a wonderful sense of humor. - Unfortunately we lost him way to soon to Cancer at age 50 when this was discovered on a visit to his London UK home in 2001. - His local club in the UK was the Bognor Regis and this year, his parents sent out a special plaque to display at this yearly event which is all about raising money for Cancer research. We are happy to report that we collected $890.00 for this worthy cause, but more importantly we shared a lot of good memories of Adrian around the camp fire.

The Joe Brown Trial, the first round of the Outlaw Series, was held at the Shawnigan Lake venue, on Vancouver Island April 12/13th. The Vintage Trial on Saturday had 11 riders on a variety of twin-shock machines, with Steve Fracy winning the "A" line on his 300 Fantic. - Kevin Couves was the surprise winner of the "B" line on an Ossa MAR - this was Kevin's first time out after a 12 year lay-off. The Sunday event for modern bikes saw Will Duggan take the Expert Class win. Pictures can be seen by clicking onto www.outlawtrials.com -gallery.

Just to give everyone a heads up. The Canadian Pacific Trails Association (CPTA) will be having their next trial in Squamish B.C. at one of the riding areas of the Howe Sound Trials Riders Association. The ride will be on Aug 24th, 2008 with the sign-in at 9:00 am on the pegs at 10:00 am. Their will be two loops through the Crumpit Woods riding area, one for junior and intermediate the other for the advanced and experts, both featuring dirt, the occasional log and copious amounts of the famous Squamish granite. This is a points event so the normal trophys are on offer, but we also have a very generous group of supporters so we have a draw at the awards ceremony to give aw…

The 23rd running of the Famous Outlaw Trial will go next weekend Oct 9th and 10th. - The vintage Trial is on Saturday and the modern on Sunday The location is Summerland in the beautiful Okanagan Valley, and the Trial is sanctioned by the WEC. - an approx loop of 30km and 20 sections for the Experts ridden twice, gives the riders a great day out, and challenges for all, BUT the secret to the success of this event has always been sensible sections for all classes. We have sections named Avalanche Alley and Devil's Staircase, (the link to UK Trials is obvious,) but the main reason people keep coming back is because they enjoy the camp out, and the family type atmosphere,…
