    Beta 200 06

The GG200 is a far superior machine But the beta will suit your limited ability just fine.
  4. The manx 2 day is great, entries out now. It's pretty tough (well I thought so!) you need to be a good clubman rider to enjoy it I'd say, but really really good. G
  5. I'd make one up. Find some stiff plastic, cut it to size and shape, glue your numbers and letters on, use the rear light mounting bolt under the mud guard to hang it.
  6. Does anyone happen to know if the forest trophy trial is on this year? It's usually in may, I rode it last year and enjoyed it, can't see anything about 2010 on the trialspace web site though.

    Ty80 Mystery Part

Ta for the replies boys, yes I was little upset it was running so sweetly too. Funny thing is it's not a spring washer for definate, there a diamond pattern stamped into either side looks more like a location ring of some sort. Anyway it's back together now, ordering a piston tonight .
  8. Ebikeinsurance will do them, I have two road bikes and my gasgas insured on the same policy with them, all done on line and straight forward.
  9. New poster, from wintry south west Wales. We've just finished a full rebuild of my lads TY80 which took Dad rather a long time to complete (ahem). Anyway, it ran really well which was a relief, right up to the point where he toppled over on it and it ran for a few seconds on it left hand side. It didn't over rev just lay on it side at idle. While it was over and as I sorted the boy out, I heard what sounded like the chain trying to jump of the sprocket so quickly hit the kill button. The bike stopped as I hit the button but was now locked solid when in gear. I thought something had come adrift in the gearbox but now I've stripped it down, the problem is obvious. A small ring or washer looks like its found it's way into the crank case and jammed up the piston skirt followed swiftly by bits of skirt jammed against the flywheel and cases. Crank is out and all bearings seem OK, new piston and it should be fine, fingers crossed. I just can't figure out where the steel washer/ring thing has come from. I attach a pic for the more experienced engine fiddlers to hopefully identify the part! http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z6/gron...20Pics/FOD1.jpg Thanks for any help guys, Gronno
  10. Great vid, I didn't know that about the sharper edge on a circlip, makes complete sense. I'll check for the gear lever click thing, good stuff.
  11. I can't say I've noticed any other symptoms thankfully. I'll have a gander at the video though.
  12. Just wondering if there is a known problem with Pro G/boxes jumping into gear? Mines jumped in a couple of times now, just after starting, is it a symptom of something about to let go or 'they all do that sir'? Running recommended dextron III ATF oil. Ta muchly.
