Good day all..just acquired a little 80 seems to run well but the kickstart slips now and then quite annoying..spline and lever are good so obviously internal just wondering if anyone has knowledge of these and ever had one apart.. many thanks

Thanks for the replies the hub & rim are in good shape although I was considering replacing the rim as that should ensure I only end up doing it once.. sounds like I may try a rebuild myself need to source some spokes & nipples .. could probably do with a front at some stage the rim is pretty knocked about... Good evening all thought I would ask this in the classic section as many of you would have had need for this..I have a gas gas pampera & would like my rear wheel rebuilt..any suggestion for a man that knows his stuff?.. Ideally in the south east save posting etc..thanks in advance

If you have a terrible rattle constant problems & bits falling off regular dont worry this is gas gas ownership....the remedy is buy a beta

Bags of cement...they are your arms! your lacking talent & finesse to operate a beta

Buy a quality beta & be rid of clutch trouble & shock trouble & bits falling off regular!

Maybe its jumping from a gas gas to a quality beta thats the problem! or maybe try riding it more than once!

I just take it to my friendly tyre fitters and they break the bead...the most difficult thing is inflating the new tyre though i tried everything! then i took it back to my friendly tyre fitter & he used a gadget called a cheeter took about a minute!...you live & learn
