thanks for the reply there is a slight tapping noise which i am quite sure is top end and a low constant rumble it doesnt change with revs

hi i have just bought a 94 techno and it sounds rumbly so i want to get all the bearings changed i have got in touch with beta uk for a price and it is 190 for the big end aparently you have to buy the conrod as well does this sound right ? it sounds very expensive to me any tips or advise thanks neil
