    i thought the same as you the cap not seated properly meant the spark altered in some way and somehow setting fire to unburnt fuel in the pipe it is a bit of a coinsidence you push the cap home and everything works fine i cant explain it but proof of the pudding etc etc any how you and me had better go halfs on a load of crack save a bit of cash then

    i had the same with the b6es changed to an iridium plug and perfect i also cleaned out my exhaust and re packed the silencer dont know if that helped

    i was wondering about that de greaser method you are thinking of only downside i can think of would be flames when it next gets hot also if the excess oil has been burning in the silencer will the packing/ wadding ? that is in there be any good now anyway sorry dont mean to be doom and gloom but it just comes naturally to me

    a handy conversion chart http://www.sidecartrials.com/two-stroke.htm this means your running yours at about 60-1 ish it must be gargling on the stuff

    hi mate i dont think it is anything as nasty as o rings just check coolant level to be sure im sure it is just down to too much oil in the silencer possibly check your plug to see how wet it is do the cheap stuff first mate

    im quite sure thats it its just stuck be carefull when you pull the bowl off the floats drop out so look first so you know how they go back in

    well sandifords after a month have now supplied most of my order they admitted to buying it from pidcocks to supply me just waiting on a rear decal very poor service

    thanks will have a go at that ive just kicked it over without the plug in it and its noisy so what do you guys reckon i need 2 mains crank seals and gaskets ?

    hi mate its neil andys mate we met at llangollen when your bike threw the hand in i now have a montesa 315 which needs the mains doing can you recomend the guy you used to do mine ?
