  3. Hi old trials fanatic Have just had a look at your clubs ( peakclassic ) great website easy to get around and looks good to. Im planing to get a bike like i use to have but have been trying to get my head round twinshocks machine eligibility i was thinking until i read your rules and regulations just pick a bike that is in my budget enter as a special and have fun, but after reading them i think i have a better understanding of what to look out for it seemed lots of bike have stuff done to them after 30 years. Im just going to ride and chat to people really. so thanks for making it clear Was really thinking of getting a nice looking fantic but was wondering why it had not been snapped up at that price so i had a chat with him and he said it had started out as a fantic 240 but it now had a 200 engine from the next year so my guess was that means there is a good chance its from a mono. So its a special ? so i need to have some one that knows about fantics if thats what im getting is the any thing to look out for on the first fantic 200 that would take it out of the twinshock class ? im 50 and a bit so would like some thing light and forgiving to help me back onto a motor bike trials moved to mountain bike over 20 years ago so i could do more riding

  22. Hi Bondy I like the look of your 198b i always wanted one of them i had the last red one magic bike, I use to get it down Hale shore for a bit of practice ride with the boys from Liverpool they were good fun, if not Sunnybank in Widnes or Johnsons wood. I use to be in the the south Liverpool club till i moved anyway from widnes still pop back from time to time to catch up with old friends. I use to know some one called Bondy bit of a long shot i know.
  23. Hi all This is my first post seem to spend lots for my free time on here reading all the great post its been endless help thank you all. Well i have never been any good at making my mind up so any help i would be really great full Its been well over 25 years since i was a member of the south liverpool motor club with my Bultaco 250 / ( SWM from Billy which was magic ) Loved there weekends in Wales and the trials events around the North West, we had lost Sunny Bank just down the road and Johnsons Wood about 30 mins away. But i moved away and got into mountain biking because of the freedom to ride almost any were at that time. So i have been riding some thing but not use to having any power in my ham fisted right hand to get me into trouble so its going to be endless fun. So which Fantic do you like the best of the 2, which makes you smile the most when your riding it. Thanks
