  1. Been there, snapped a bolt half way through the caliper, so could not get any grip of remaining bolt. Tryed to drill out with top notch drill bits, but they just bounced of it,

Just about to give in to defeat. And use the caliper as a paper weight. When I found a local engineering firm, they said they would have a crack at drilling it, or spark erode it ,

Thankful success with a big pillar drill. Hope you get a bit of luck bud

  2. I replaced two on the middle box of my Monty 12 months ago from my local engineering shop like websters

Just took the old seals in to match them up, I did mention the heat factor to them, no probs so far,

  3. Hi, looking to tart up my 02 315r, and would love to get the tank re,painted.

Just wondering if it was a pretty straight forward job?

Does it have to be some sort or specialist paint, with it being a plastic tank?

Or can you get a reasonable finish with a rattle can.

    Thanks in advance. Clay

  4. I think a lot of riders who aren't competing for championships are just keen to get a reliable bike you can just ride and not spend the rest of the week preparing for next weeks trial.

Montesa have been that that bike but being so pricey a few haven't taken the plunge. If Montesa price there bikes along with the other manufacturers I think it's jobs a good un. Folk are saying its not a new bike because it hasn't got a new frame , it does have a new engine though and the Repsol one looks the dogs.

bob on budy, just sold my evo 2010 to go back to a 2002 315, purely for the build, you can swing on the nuts and bolts with out fear of damage, montys will still be turning wheels, when other brands will be packing beans,,,
