If you search by Part numbers you will find a supplier.

Try  BIT050620007 this is for a 2006 model

or BIT05052007 this is for a 2005 model

(just the seventh digit changes to reflect the year it was current for, so try 4, 7 etc etc - whatever year you specifically need to make the stickers match. Also some early years were blue plastics, then they went to red)

They are the same plastics just different stickers and will fit all BOY50 from 2002 onwards.

Thanks but these part numbers don’t find anything on the web.

    Ill try a dealer tomorrow

  2. I also race Mx/Enduro and found the same regarding trials bikes, the suspension doesn't seem to be a concern with riders.

I'm quite heavy and thought my beta was sat low at the back, I've had a few people say it's fine but fet it was loosing front control. I didn't find much advise online so set the bike up as I would my ktm and now it feels great. The rear is higher giving good front control, splats and drop-offs are well cushioned t's like a different 'easy to ride' bike now!

  3. From a mechanics point of view unless asked otherwise I would remove the seals.

The reasoning behind this is I've changed hundreds of Sealed bearings in my years and noticed the bearings 9 out of 10 are brown/ blue and cooked and all the nice clean grease thrown to the sides away from the bearing.

    Just my opinion.

  4. It's a 2006 250, the shock feels plush and responds to settings so I think it's ok.

I've preloaded the rear as it was fully down which has made it feel a lot better, I'm on it today so will have a play with the steering n suspension.

    I've found an online manual.

I've found that trials suspension isn't talked about nearly half as much as it is with the Enduro/MX side I guess it's a lot more personal preference!

  5. Im not overly heavy 14st.

The bike feels to be sitting back, I should explain I've raced Mx/ Enduro for 10 years so a trial newbie.

I've taken all to front preload off and jacked the rear to gain some front end control but still fees like it sits back is this just the trials bike feel?

Rear shock is stock and ok.

  6. Hey guys thats me in the club got myself a cracker of a 315R 2004 she's a beauty and got a powerband in every gear haha, joking aside tho is there any good mods for them like adding a sleeve to the silencer to stop it coming off and things of this nature, looking forward to see what you all come up with oh where is good for parts thanks

You did well to find an 03 or 04 hardly see them for sale anymore!

saying that theres a nice one on piston heads.

  7. thats great thanks for the imput, just got to find one now ha.

it was actually the 2003-on which were greatly improved however older versions are also very good and reliable!

  8. Phoned the guy up earlier today bought it for his son summer last year who then wanted a scooter. He rides enduro said trials not for him so it has to go.

I have a 315 and love it so much even if i give the sport up its staying in the garage!

To put it blunt the old betas are a pile of **** 315s are so higher in the food chain its raining castrol r

  9. if you doing half the job anyway why not do it all?

pre-detonation can be caused by several combinations of issues, one being small particals of carbon on the piston igniting the mixture before the spark.

When you switched to a higher octane fuel the engine ran cooler, but the carbon still built up, hence the problem has returned.

i usually remove the plug inject some carbon-x leave a few hours move the piston down the cylinder then blow it stright through the exhaust port its worked a treat on my exc!
