they don't come with an ohlins shock and the magnesium crankcases are the same on a standard bike but there painted gold ( thats what haven told us), the swing arm is differnt though. the only thing differnt that i would want on a standard one is the aluminium forks
all im trying to say is hopping, balancing and other techniques are all part of the sport - why try to limit them?
I'm sorry to say that argument is fundamentaly flawed. If hopping etc is part of the sport, then it stands to reason that if hopping etc is against the rules, then it's not part of the sport.
i've not heard this , you might not be able to stop but that is why when you flick etc you keep moving .
e.g. you flick the whole bike to turn it or when you endo you keep the front wheel moving.
don't take this to hart or seriously , but should we not be testing riders on sections that they don't like or that don't suit them to help them improve .
Lee at Dzigns just finished my latest one!! went to pick it up and look at all the others!! left him with some very vague ideas and let him work him magic!!
very addictive though...
I have given a design but would really like him to add his own stuff too it, just hope it all works out ok .
Can you post your helmet to him?
ps. how long does it take to complete on average??
Marky Boy, who posts on here occasionally does all sorts of paint workincluding Helmets. He's round abouts Malton (between York and Scarborough). He'll probably be quite sarcastic, but helpful. look at www.wizardpaintwerx.com

I had a word with him at a trial once and he said he stopped doing helmets
I've been thinking about having my helmet painted for a long time and have finally created a design that i'm happy with .
I have contacted D-zign but does anyone no where else it can be done. If you have expreience in sending your helmet off any advice would be greatly appreciated .
a mate fo mine has just got an indoor version of this, he is very good with petrol RC planes but fancied a change and got an electric chopper, he broke it within 3 days though
The photo shows people in the background so the camera hasn't been angled yet the video makes it look like something completely different.
I was stood at that section and believe me, the photo is the most realistic. That rock face was huge and very steep, almost vertical. It was also undercut by a good 3 or 4 feet of nothingness...
I think that Raga is in mid flight in the photo, if you look at his chain tensioner it hasn't flicked out yet so he probably hasn't fully hit the rock yet. But a credit to sergio because his timing was perfect then .
Renthal offer the best quality chain, but you do save a bit of weight with the Iris (even if they do break alot ) it's all about how much money you jave to spend and what you want to spend it on
