I was VERY disappointed in the Pre-65 in the respect of non-competitors abusing the course. The walk up to Pipeline on Friday I was getting out of the way of more spectators bikes than I was competitors. I don't mind giving way to Competitors or Officials, but I do object to stopping for someone who's too lazy to walk it. Same on Saturday up to Mamore. It was like the M25 up there. All these people are doing is giving the walkers and tree-huggers more ammo to kill Trials off and for only one reason - laziness. Andy as you know i was first up Pipeline on friday, on the way down track to pipeline i was nearly taken out twice. I would say that atleast 8 to 9 riders came against me it is highly dangerous, and believe me i know. I was taken out about 5 years ago same thing. vinnie

These comments came from riders on tuesday night who were not to happy with the tight time and the fact that riders were cheating riding on the road and not following cross country, thus saving a lot of time and a huge ammount of energy vinnie

I do not think you will get a lot of critisim against SSDT committee 1. They do an massive job 2. Unless you are one of the few people ie. winners, who are guarenteed an entry, most people are not going to say very much as it might effect there future entry, this may sound a very short sighted comment but nevertheless it was a comment from a lot of riders Vinnie
