  1. Thanks Breagh for lowering your standards, heaven knows I have been doing that my whole life . I look forward to your thoughts. Nice review gasgas249uk, You have been doing a great job selling me on the JTG, but there seems better support for the Ossa here in the states (Lewisport is fired up on them). This will be my first new bike so the comparison really helps. Thank you.

    Ossa 250 2014

Anyone tried one? If so I would love to hear your thoughts. Cheers Jon
  3. Hi Gary. Great bike! A few questions. Could you tell me what brake pedal you used as well as if you used 5'5 or 6" renthals? Is the left side crankcase cover original or did you use one from an It175? I hope she is treating you well?
  4. Hi gig755. What brake pedal are you using on your TY? Also are the bars 5'5 or 6 renthals? Also are you running an elctric ignition? Great bike! Africanjon

Fantastic bike goudrons! What levers are you using?
  6. Thanks feetup and wildbill. I have read a number of different views on forks for the Ty175, from Ty250 and 350 to using Magical springs with spacers. It would seem there are pros and cons to each. My forks are very bouncy as they feel that they gain momentum rather than a consistent return. I think if I recall that you did not like the magicals on your setup, is that right feetup? I also had a look at replacement yokes from the twinshockshop which apparently improve the ride as they alter the angle and improve steering position, as opposed to frame mods? Choices, choices!
  7. Hi feetupfun! These are ones I saw on eBay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/MONTESA-COTA-349-348-1979-FRONT-35mm-FORKS-AHRMA-TRIALS-BETOR-CERIANI-MARZOCCHI-/251290134882?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a820f2962&vxp=mtr. I am trying to find another option for my 175. I weigh around 185lbs 84kg and liked the fact they were wider.
  8. Would this be an improvement on the standard Ty175 forks? Thanks
  9. Thanks for the advice! Think I am going for the TY, seems I will spend more time riding in the long run which is the point, init?
  10. Hi Guys/Gals I have two good prospects for my first restore/mod project. '76Ty175 in excellent condition. Pre '66 Triumph Cub set up for trials with spare frame wheels etc, runs well seems all original Heart says Cub head says TY. Any and all thoughts appreciated. Thanks. Jon
