  1. No spark?

I just replaced the rings in my 2007 290 Sherco. No problem, everything went back together just fine, but I have no spark. I have gone thru wiring looking for shorts, no luck! I have disconnected the competition style kill switch even, maybe a short, still no spark.

Prior to repair it ran good, other than needing a fresh set of rings, I simply washed the bike as usual parked in my basement then 4 weeks later replaced rings.

Anybody have any trouble shooting suggestions, stator and coil I guess would be the next thing to look at?

  2. Hello Zippy! You were missed at the banquet, lots of trials talk.

No sir, I'm pinching pennies just like everyone else in Elkhart County, no new bikes for me.

I was planning on having a hog roast at the event in April, but money is tight, may roast one of those 100lbs black Schnauzers you seen running around the yard.

Are you coming down in April? If so you have a place to stay.

    Viva Sherco!

  3. I raced Saturday night at the ENDUROCROSS in Columbus, Ohio 10/5/08. That evening between midnight and 5:00 a.m. my 2007 WRF 250 was stolen out of my trailer at the University Plaza Hotel. #78 is on the plate and it has UNIBIKER radiator guards and after market bash plate. I have no Insurance coverage, major lost.

Enclosed and locked in a parking lot with lights , they cut the lock and grabbed the WRF, ramp, 3 tie downs. My Sherco was in a wheel shoe so we imagine they could not figure out how to remove it. The gear and tools where way up front out of reach. The cop said trailers are preyed on all the time in the area seeking construction tools.

    For what its worth!

  4. Woot, Woot, Open4S and TrialsCross!

I'm going to place my money on Joe Kutchey, he is a ProAm level Motorcrosser from Michigan who recently took up trials, last I heard he will ride TrialsCross and Expert class.

    Craig,

If all the young guns pile up! and You, Noel and my silly self end up out front, let use strategic blocking to defend the win, will split winnings 50/50.

  5. It is well worth the expense to meet Ishy!

I'm a little disappointed with only 114 entrys, but we will have a blast anyhow.

Correct me if I'm wrong, a week at Disney World for a family of 4 is roughly $2500.00 and a bottle of water is 4.00 during prime time. If your lucky you can be there during Gay week! :wall:
