  1. It was a fantastic event lots of hard work done by all involved, made for a great watch, but...It was pretty much an outdoor indoor. As per other comments surely we have other locations with enough natural terrain to test the riders. I too would prefer to watch something like that and walk a little further on the day if needs be.
  2. Bou just looked on awesome form, never off line no matter how big the hazards got!
  3. Make sure you're compressing the rear suspension fully before you throw your weight forwards. Secondly use the clutch to provide a tiny bit of drive to the rear wheel. It will take some practice to get the amount of drive just right and time the bounce and disengage the clutch again. Good luck.
  4. Great stuff cheers will find them on fb and check first thing hopefully see you there.
  5. Hi, Anyone familiar with the roads near to parkwood?? Given all the flooding ongoing is the venue going to be reachable? Would like to go tomorrow as it's the only day forecast for no or light rain! Cheers
  6. Hi All, Went practicing at Cliviger on Friday last, was talking to the farmer/landowner and he mentioned that travellers/gypsies were aware the top gate was not locked and had been known to sneak down and steal stone/metal from his yard at the bottom. I'd been having a problem with my van central locking in that it would alarm fully but not lock the side sliding door, hence I had removed everything from inside. When I returned from the hill after an hour the side door had been opened and alarm activated. I'd advise removing all valuables tools etc from your vehicle before attending - can't imagine they wont bother breaking in if they think something might be present to steal, especially if they can see/hear you some distance away. Cheers. Lee
  7. Cheers guys will get up Back cowm and see who's around and maybe do the boxing day trial up there
  8. Hi All, I've just picked up a bike after about ten years out of the game. I used to practice at Back Cowm and Cliviger (and other places it seems sadly are no longer an option). There used to be a big group of us when I was a kid challenging each other and they all slowly disappeared one by one. I can practice mid week and weekends depending on work be good to meet some new folks if anyone fancies a practice session. Got myself an Evo 300 - awesome bit of kit. Cheers. Lee
