FIM Trial regulations 2019. Definition of failure (5): We have the same national regulation here in Germany: One can imagine a marker as a virtual endless vertical line from and above the marker. Canario

I never scored at a world level, but at a "state level" only. It is possible that I am to German (), but I am and other scorers are scoring strictly according to the official local rules. In addition, during the briefing before the start, all observers are instructed in and to score according to the rules of our Federation. But one rule applies also and always: The observer has to "keep his line" of scoring during the whole competition.- Toby Martyn
In the mean time I received the confirmation from the FIM that the 2013 video with the samples is still valid.- Toby Martyn
"Interesting" that observers can ignore the FIM rules and make their own ones. No wonder, that at the end someone like Toby Martyn loses the title because of an observer who marked 99,9% with his own relaxed rules and then one single decision at the right time strictly according to the FIM rules.- Toby Martyn
Hi oni nou, thank you for your statements. Now I see and understand your point. Practice "outdated" theorie (what eventually opens some additional room for cheating).- Toby Martyn
Nevertheless, the video still matches exactly with the concerning text passage within the FIM Trial Regulations as of July 25th 2018 (Page 88): -> Link The rule "The machine ceases to move in a forward direction relative to the course." was also written down in the 2013 and 2014 FIM regulations. Where did you see the revision of the "No Stop rule" in the time window between 2013 and today?- Toby Martyn
Interesting: Yesterday, this statement could be found at the Trial GP website. Now, it seems to be removed. Let the dust settle on it...- Toby Martyn
Backwards is again one step further. The machine should/must not cease to move in a forward direction relative to the course. My impression is, that this rule doesn't leave much room for interpetations. Edit: Recalled this demonstration video from the FIM regarding No stop rule: --> No stop video- Toby Martyn
FIM Trial Regulations (as of 26 July 2018): Therefore, I would state that hopping side ways on that rock is a five.- TXT 2012/13 Rear shock removal
Hi guys, thank you very much for your recommendations and advices. In the meantime I could remove and reinstall the rear shock. I also greased the bearings. Biggest challenge was to find a way for loosening the screw which is connected to the swing arm (not enough space for the nut). With the stiffer spring, let's see if I can now compete against Toni or Pat... Canario- TXT 2012/13 Rear shock removal
Thank you very much! Regarding the dogbones: Would you take them completely off or is it sufficient to remove the bolts M8 x 38 only that fixes the bones to the frame. Or the other way round: Removing only the bolt M10 x 125 that connects the dogbones to the linkage plates? Thank you in advance, Canario- TXT 2012/13 Rear shock removal
Hi there, I wonder if there is an easy and quick way to remove and reinstall the rear shock without removing the skid plate. Any advice is highly appreciated. Thanks Canario - Toby Martyn
